honestly Polyphia songs are the best songs to learn. getting good at Polyphias stuff pretty much instantly made me better at all other songs. that is to say polyphia riffs are a cheat code, if you can play them well you can play literally anything else flawleslly

I was in your shoes a while ago, but somehow it just came to me after I practiced and started learning songs that are really hard to play. Maybe that'll help.

I think it is more impressive when a musician plays not a complicated piece of music, but very accurately and effortlessly, than trying to learn something extremely hard and failing to nail it
if it took 80 hours for this then id suggest learning classical before trying to learn a fast complicated riff from polyphia who very often uses classical techniques to make overhyped music
