@ScottCheg sorry to say but you're practicing wrong then. Stop trying to learn covers and do daily finger exercises like you're at the gym, proper sets, different exercises. Do them then learn what you wana play

This is not "talent" even behind this video there is an immense amount of training and effort, he is young, but he must've been into music since an early age, his parents also must support him, keep going my man, hope you're able to reach many good things with the skills you have!

If you don't practice , you won't improve. Also you have to practice efficiently and noodling isn't practice. Practice should be difficult because it's learning new things. It doesn't have to be boring or painful but nobody is born with the ability to play guitar . We all have to work hard.
