POV mode is just push mode button once to lock mode and once again to POV. No need to push it 3 times. See manual
I could not thank you enough for this! Their reading instructions have totally left me dumbfounded, while with your help I managed to balance out my Nikon d750 beautifully (even with 24-120mm lens!). For the price that I got this I totally could not ask for more, I am super happy with it, but just to be picky and add on a few things to things I wish existed I wish I could see my battery life somehow and I wish I did not need to undo the WHOLE setup so I can fit it back in its case

Its wierd your box layout is different then mine. There is a seperate area for the batteries and charger that has a hard foam cover that goes on top of it, the when the gimbal is layed down in the case, the mount plate lays ontop of the battery/charger storage area. I wonder why the difference?
Can you use a quick release on the Crane Plus? I have the Crane v2 and I tried a Canon m50 and a quick release plate and it didn’t work. It’s not too much weight, it’s only only 24oz. The Crane is supposed to support 3.9lbs.

Just got mine the other day, however, I'm unable to move the mounting plate where the camera sits. I've turned the thumbscrew beneath around so many times and it's still not sliding, it's just stuck. Any advice?
at 3:58 you talk about a 3/4 to 1/4 20 adapter. Is there some sort of piece that goes in there (that could fall out)? I can't put my Crane Plus together anymore because the screws don't fit together.

I do believe, though, that the balance problems with certain lenses could be solved with different sollutions of counter weighting.
It absolutely is solved with counter weights, I just don't recommend that to people because it becomes more difficult to balance and it adds quite a bit of weight. Thanks for the comment 🤝

I bought a new zihyun crane plus and its rec and zoom button is not working. When i try to get this features work by pressing the buttons, it constantly shows me this picture and not working. Anyone who can advise me on what might have happened to it?? PS: My camera Sony rx10m3 is already connected to the crane.

It's a pain, but nothing that really is a show stopper. What bothers me the most is I'm not able to balance the Sigma onto the system. Thanks for stopping in bro 👊
the mode is soooo confusing lol. Newbee here. But I guess it just takes practice.

I tried it with the Nikon F90. Could not shoot any video with that combination.

As a vlogger you need a flip screen to see your self so with that gimbal how can you flip the screen gimbal will just be in the way
Hi, just one comment. At 10.52 you say that you can not put back the camera to end. Have got my 5Dmark 3 completely to the end. So , I guess sometime is wrong with your balancing.

the batteries are POSITIVE terminal UP. Both of them.

Nice video. One video no one has made are the camera settings (Sony mirrorless, A6500 in my case). There are a lot of posts on the Zhiyun Facebook page of frustrated users because the camera controls simple as they may be, do not appear to work. Rather than guessing it would be nice to know what settings are used in the camera to enable USB control.
DId you ever figure this out? I have a A6300 and am using the supplied SONY cable but it doesnt seem to do a damn thing. I cant control taking shots or recording with the button on the camera like I should be. Im just hoping its some setting in the camera I have to change to get it to work, but havent found one yet.

I'm debating between getting the Crane 2 or Crane Plus. I use the canon 80D (730g) with the EFS 18-135 canon lens (455g). My whole setup is equal to 1185g. The Crane V2 is not capable of handling this setup due to the weight being too heavy, but the Crane 2 is capable of handling this setup. Do you know if the Crane Plus can handle this setup?
My assumption would be that it would not handle the weight especially at the extended focal length,
I just purchased the PLUS and I have a Canon 5DMKIV. I balanced it with an 85mm 1.8. It works fine. NO quick release plate...but I feel like I'm RIGHT there with the weight limit....I kinda wish I had put up more money for the Crane 2 for not only just the extra payload but the OLED to show what mode youre in. I wonder if I can still return this to Amazon ;)

I bought this on the assumption it could balance my D750.Even with the smallest lens(Sigma 10-20mm) its just too heavy.It balances ok on setup and once it switches on it balances perfectly.But once I turn it the whole thing just loses its balance.Yes it can hold a large camera but its all over the place once you move it around.
I just bought this for my Canon 5DMKIV. I'm kinda wondering if I should have gotten the Crane 2 because though I was able to achieve balancing with my camera and an 85mm 1.8 lens, it still seems very heavy..like for the gimbal I mean.
Differences between this and the Crane 2? starting to think they have too many SKU's
FreshTechTV Crane 2 is their flagship that holds 7lbs. This only holds 5lbs max.

Yes, the T6i...not sure on other, but more than likely...the cables only work w Sony n Panasonic thgh...

That's a pretty heavy setup. I don't think this work be a good option.
One take away for me is that I shoot with Nikons and Nikon doesn’t make a cable for the gimbal.
You don't explain the pan part. You just say "it shouldn't go up like that" and then you just skipped the part where you should see the difference.

i guess it would do just fine. i have my a6500 with the 18-105mm g master and it was fine.
Has anyone got the A6300 to connect to the gimbal? I can balance mine on it for the most part (using my 55-210 is a bit of a pain, particularly if the camera gets knocked the manual zoom can extend out and totally mess up the balance, so you have to rebalance it, probably best without a large zoom lense I guess), but the sony cable doesnt seem to connect the camera to the gimbal. Has anyone else succesfully used the included sony cable to link to a A6300?

This was very informative! I own Sony a6500 and my lens set up are very front heavy! I would be very annoyed if the Crane Plus supports the weight but not the weight distribution of my setup. Do you think Crane 2 will remedy the weight balance issue???

Keep in mind when I made this video there wasn't a smartphone app that worked well enough so I left it out completely.

It is not a good experience for me to use Crane plus with my sunny camera. I am very disappointed on Zhiyun service. Next time sharing other brands.
