@HandyDadTV elites are like the Gen 2 new release. He compares You can also find all specs on the Govee website czcams.com/video/PlGlH1SsKVA/video.htmlsi=4PFd96Hwv1-vtSXC
@@jbsdiytv I may go asahom pro. Lumen brightness is almost double go vee pro. Still can’t find full specs on elite. I think it being overseas release only to Costco to sell has a small part in specs being elusive
Like I mentioned, it’s the same as G2’s. It’s just a name and model change but same product. Watch that video and it will compare the G1,G2 and Pros. Elites and G2 are the same. I do agree about that product. Its really bright
Is the LED node the same size as the RGBIC H705 model? I'm going to pick this up once it arrives at my local Costco but I want to get some mounting brackets
If you’re referring to 3D mounts then yes. They are the same size in casing. I also had someone confirm in their tracks they sell and he said yup, same size
@@jbsdiytv Tracks? Sorry I'm just so very new to this. My wife and I were thinking of getting a permanent light setup for a little while now, but the RGBICs didn't have warm white and the Pro was just so expensive. But now that these Elites seem to have RGBIC and a Warm LED, and has the 108 light density (with 40lm each) for a $399CAD price point, plus Costco Return Policy...we are going to make the leap. So any help you can offer in terms of info is really appreciated! I definitely want to get these on the house before winter. My goal is to use them as everyday warm downlights and then mix in holiday colour for Halloween, Xmas, etc
@noexistence1 this is definitely an upgrade from the non pros and it does have the warm and cool white in them. I feel pros have more LEDs to cover the pure scope of white. Just looks much more cleaner. Yes, to what your doing this for is a plus and I recommend these over the non pros. Just can say that over the pros as an installer since those are covered through warranty if spliced and I like all the whites in those. I’ll have a video out shortly on these. You’ll like them, just not the mounts that come with them. @BearLightStudios has professional track you can buy for them. Just factor that in the price though
Yup that’s correct. Does not include splice connectors so that’s the first sign to not splice. Though we do it all the time on our installs and we warranty it. Thanks Take a look at my open box video of them czcams.com/video/LN65HudRDaw/video.htmlsi=LUu2Bj5KuIam54F0
Just installed them on my home
What do you think of them so far?
Great video. Looking forward to the update.
Thanks I have a open box video coming out shortly so look out for that
I can’t find lumen brightness specs.

@@jbsdiytv yessir thank you much!
How much you charge for 100 ft am in Katy
Hi, how much do you charge to install 100ft govee lights? I have my own kit. Thanks
@dugsy8 Where are you located?

Puck casing is the same size and the node is the same. Only difference they place a round one on top of this one for whites
@@jbsdiytv so mounts designed for the H705 should work?
