    I tried about 6 different videos before it clicked with yours. Very happy to find clear directions without fiddling with a crochet hook or scrap yarn. Many thanks!

    I played with it and instead of only four set up rows, I did. the whole ribbing like this. I turned out so good, I will keep doing it for further project

    Thank you for this fantastic video! I am using the tubular cast on for a pair of finger-less mitts, but normally when I join in the round, I add an extra stitch to avoid the little jog. In the video, I see that we are supposed to end with a "purl" stitch. Can I cast on one more stitch after the "purl" stitch for my join and if I do, what about when I flip the needle around for the first set up row. Would I just knot into the back of the first two stitches? Will the "extra" stitch not work in this situation? Thank you so much!

    Now, since we have a disjointed break in our in-the-round work, we need to know how to join that with our tail so that it doesn't show

    After the set up rows of the tubular cast on, how do you incorporate a 3 stitch I-cord edging....for a cardigan neckband ? Do you have a tutorial for this scenario please?!🧶💫 thank you

    Hi there, do we have to end with a purl stitch? My hat pattern calls for 56 stitches so ending with a purl stitch would throw this off…

    I could see me casting on 300 stitches and zoning out about halfway and going into regular long tail cast on mode. 😂

    Next I’d like to see how you join those flat rows to knit in the round. Seems like it would avoid the nightmare of having twisted the cast on row!

    • @lesleyoliver3310
      @lesleyoliver3310 Před 11 měsíci

      I believe Stephen shows how to knit in the round at 7.11.

    • @latitude1904
      @latitude1904 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@lesleyoliver3310It's not the knitting in the round that's the trouble. It's the disjointed bit remaking after joining that must - somehow- be fixed with the yarn tail. And to get it invisible is no small feat
