  • Let's finish the Maniark already! We get a lot closer today by finishing the brakes and driveshaft. Never a dull moment around the shop though...

About Maniacs Garage and its creator:
Hello, my name is John. Over the past few decades I have built some pretty crazy rides and the Born Again may be the craziest! After spending the last 15 years working on my Real Estate business, raising a family and help plant a start up church, I was ready to embark, along with my son and a group of friends, on a new project.
However, this was not just any old project, we've done the first ever 1949 Ford Shoebox chassis swap to a 2008 BMW 335i.

Keep in mind that we don't do this for a living and the budget is very limited.

I have a question, not sure if you can answer this. My son has a 1989 c4 corvette. The voltage fluctuates from 14.1 down to 12.5 when driving around. The warning light came on for voltage the other day. I have put in 2 alternators from 2 different suppliers (actually 3 if you count a return, not sure it was actually bad). The battery was replaced. Still the problem persists. The vet has 27k miles.
