Well, you did at least mention that they were copper 1983 coins, but didn't mention that only a handful of them out of the billions of pennies made in 1983 are this error. For those wondering it was a rare error where a select few got stamped on leftover copper planchets by mistake. In 1982 to combat the rising costs of copper, they transitioned from a 95% copper penny to a 97.5% zinc penny, hence the significance of a penny being stamped on copper after the transition was complete. The easiest way to tell is to weigh the coins. Approximately 3.1 grams = copper, Approximately 2.5 grams = zinc.

Generally these videos are devoid of fact, but they did at least hint at what is worth money (1983 Copper). Due to the rising costs of copper, the US Mint switched from a 95% copper to a 97.5% zinc coin during 1982 and it has what they are still produced on to this day. In 1983 there were a handful that were struck on leftover copper planchets by mistake. The odds of finding one are astronomically small though as we are talking about a handful out of literally billions of 1983 pennies made.

They didn't bother to mention that it's only a select few rare error examples that are worth anything. What you are looking for is a 1983 penny that weighs approximately 3.1 grams (copper coin). They transitioned from copper to zinc coins during 1982, but a few old copper planchets were used in 1983 by mistake. Effectively it's a are error coin. The modern zinc coins weigh approximately 2.5 grams.
