The extras i didnt take for baby 1 but did for baby 2! A fan as its hot in the ward, own mug for tea and a face sleep mask as they leave lights on so if you wanted to nap in the day while babies sleep you can block out the lights, Dark nightie and a dark Towel . Also cosy socks for in bed !
The reason you can't have nails and polish on is due to the oximeter they will place on your finger. This will read how oxygenated your blood is. Polish and nails can effect the readings and sometimes it can't read it at all xx good luck Amy and Bradley ❤
So happy for u Amy and Brad can’t wait to see the little ones xx u guys are amazing
You are so prepared Amy, all the best to you and Bradly. Can’t wait to meet the little guys .👶🏻👶🏻❤️
Aww nearly time for you to meet your beautiful boys , God bless on a safe delivery , you and Bradley will make such lovely parents , they will be very lucky boys , take care ❤ can't wait to see pics of the twins , so happy for you both will be a very special Christmas xxx
I worked on maternity, dont take your own meds, you will have your own controlled drug sheet and its easy to forget what you have taken especially as your be more focused on the babies. Ive seen ladies up and about quickly after a section and some have to spend a bit more time in theatre so make sure daddy takes lots of pics. Best of luck 😊
intensive care for 3 days because he was born at 34 weeks pregnant because I had problems with my baby and I was bleeding and the my baby and the blood flow was in working properly but I am so happy for I can't wait to see your beautiful baby boys have a wonderful Christmas to you all hun I just love you so much hun xxxxxx
😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰😘😘😃⛄🎁🎁🌲🎄☃️💋❄️🤗🤗🤗😊❤️👄
Best wishes for an exciting week. What a Christmas. So many folks living solo will be so pleased to be part of your journey and will feel part of your large vlogging family. Not forgetting the NHS family who will be with you both.🎉🎄😀
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and safe delivery of your boys, I’ve had 2 sections which am not going to lie was nervous and you will recover as you are well supported. Exciting times ahead being new parents excited to see your next chapter 🥰
Hey, it’s happening so quickly!! I had a c-section and I did have a bleed for about 3 weeks! Defiantly recommend having loads of maternity pads etc ready!! Good luck with it all ❤
The best christmas present ever! Welcome to the world baby boys. Congratulations Bradley and Amy xx
Don't get overwhelmed. Do what is comfortable for you and what is right for you. Don't take to heart any comments, people are trying to be helpful but they don't always put it in a gentle way. Having twins is totally different with just having one. ❤ enjoy the process, you are doing amazing. ❤
I was a teen mom in 2004 and I wish I had something like this to watch to help me feel more prepared 🥹 it's all so super overwhelming and you have no clue ! This is what is great about CZcams , women helping women 💓 wishing you all the best of luck xxxx
So exciting ❤ yes you still bleed after a section as there is bleeding from where the placenta is attached, I’d recommend the big tena pants because they’re much easier and comfortable! Also lansinoh nipple cream is a necessity and I ended up needing more changes of baby clothes but as you say, your family can always bring more if you need it ❤ I hope you have a beautiful birth experience!!
So so excited for you both , can’t wait to see the twins ❤ I would take more pyjamas with you into the hospital xx
Wishing you a safe healthy happy delivery ❤
So excited for you both ❤ Can't wait to see the little bubbas and know their names and follow your twin journey xxx
The consistency in your channel in unmatched and so inspiring! Thank you so much for creating such beautiful videos, one of the only channels on CZcams I truly look forward to watching 💖
Your nails are just amazing without anything on them. Good luck hun with the wee babies 💙❤️🩵❤️
All the best to you both on the arrival of your twin boys. Your looking fabulous. You've got loads of to take with you because your having 2 babies . Your really well organised. Take care xxx❤
Congrats! You have packed good!. Yes, you do bleed with a C-Section so bring enough. Also one recommendation, take advantage of being in the hospital and getting as much rest and help you need, that way you have rest before going home. Also asked the hospital for some chuck pads when going home, that way you can protect your own bedding in case of an accident. Can't wait to see the babies! Sending lots of prayers for a healthy delivery!.
So organised Amy, well done, all looks great. So excited for you both and looking forward to seeing your lovely boys.
Best wishes to you both! Such a wonderful Christmas hey! ❤
I remember doing this with my five children....your going to be just fine sending love and remember I know your a Vlogger but take time out to have your time ❤
Congratulations with the lovely twins babies ❤
Lovely video Amy as usual…. Wishing you Bradley and your baby boys a very Happy Christmas - how exciting 💙💙 hoping your babies have a safe delivery xx
So exciting ❤
Good luck to you both and families hope you and babies deliver safe
❤ Nearly there !! 🤗 All the best !! 🥂🍾 to you both and baby's ,🤞🙏.
Hi amy, good luck with everything, you are so organised, can't wait to see the beautiful babies,X
So excited for you! Had my baby almost 3 weeks ago (not c-section) but I would advise you message your GP for some lactulose beforehand instead of the constipation tablets. It works much better and being in recovery after birth + constipation is so uncomfortable - I’m assuming would be similar with c-section. I overpacked for the hospital and hardly used any of it but I would overpack again next time as it was nice to feel prepared and have home comforts. Also yes to wearing your maternity leggings after! Good luck!🥰
Congratulations to you both. Your beautiful boys are just perfect. 😍
I’ve had 3 boys all c-sections. You’ll bleed for about 6 weeks after, first 1-2 weeks will be very heavy and then after it’ll be just like a normal period. All the best for your new journey!
Wishing you all the very best to u both & babies, Amy😊, can't wait to see ur next vlog, babies be here, ❤ wat a lovely thing to happen intime for Xmas, sending u all lots of love
Awww love this , you have packed to perfection . Hope you have a wonderful birth . Can't wait to see your baby boys , good luck guys 🥰
You are so much more organized and prepared than I was. Was staying for over a week, and I only brought change and soap for me, clothes to go home in for my babies and some snacks and a charger. Got the rest from the hospital 😅 Hope you're looking forward to giving birth ❤
Pack lots of snacks because the food in my hospital was never on time for the meal times and portions were so small and there was never a good time for my husband to get some , also loads of pads i bled for 3 weeks after c section, good luck excited to see the twins 🥰
Amy it will not be long till you and Bradley have the boys best wishes for all and have a lovely Christmas x
When I was packing my hospital bag, I took tiny baby stuff just in case. My daughter was expected to be around 8lbs, so I didn't need them as such, but as you said, scans aren't always accurate. I was able to donate them to the hospital after she was born, as we didn't need them. So they're worth taking. Even if you don't use them, someone will 😊
After my csection there was no way I was in any fit state to apply a full face of makeup then using all that skincare to take it all back off,,, prepare for anything and everything obvs
Peppermint tea helps a lot after a c section when you need to release gas haha just a tip because when I had my first c section soo much wind was in my stomach but you can’t put pressure on your stomach to let it out and that tea helps soo much well it did me haha
Hi Amy so happy for you both not long now you will make a beautiful mummy to the Twins best of luck to you and Bradley O so Excited take care xxxx 💙💙
Aww best wishes to you both and bet they will be handsome xxxxxxx
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Amy and Brad oh it’s real now when your packing for hospital, carnt wait to see the little ones ❤❤❤❤❤xxxxxx
Good luck hope all goes well x
Can’t wait for the birth vlog!!! ❤❤❤❤
All the very best to u both. X
I was a c section with my little one and I was the same brought the massive pads, but with the c section I found like tena disposable underwear so much handier, like easier to change when you’re sore! Best of luck with the twins ❤❤
Just clicked for all norifications. Good luck to you I cant wait to hear
best wishes Amy x
Good luck to you both can't wait to meet yr bubbas xx
Top tip you can leave the car seats and extras in the car just incase they move you around and only bring up the car seats and spare stuff from the car when needed only bring your bag snacks and babies bags up
All bases covered, love it! Think it would be a good idea to list what packing bags are in each bag for ease too - might save Bradley riffling through 4 bags before finding your undies! Good luck mama 😘🖤
Congratulations beautiful I’m so so so happy for you and Bradley All my 3 babies were delivered by C section and my advice to you is do exactly what you’re told I didn’t and I suffered for it big time I bled for 6 weeks after each birth and make sure you get some good maternity bras too ♥️♥️♥️
You look so gorgeous with bun ❤
Congrats
I recommend your pregnancy pillow and nappy bags to dispose of the nappy in hospital and ready made milk bottles with teats to pack in your hospital bag if you are breastfeeding and your milk hasn't come in yet
Not long Amy and Brad so happy for you guys regards the sizes the ones your not sure about pop them in another bag and leave in car for Brad to grab also leave a spare bag of clothes for them packed at home so if you need extra there already packed so anyone can grab them for you. Game changer disposable pants for you and cooling pads best wishes for delivery. Also for surgery pack one is packing cube 2 vest 2 baby grower 2 hats 2 nappies
They are very lucky little boys to have such beautiful things ❤❤❤❤ from Julie
Hi, do you have a,link for the bags that you have your make up and skincare in ? X
Ye men are a nightmare my partner waits till the last month to do Xmas shopping so stressful 🤦🏻♀️😂 congrats tho to you and Bradley yous will be an amazing mum and dad to your twins because ever time a watch your videos you always know what your asking about and how to go about it your videos are very inspiring 😊 merry Xmas to you both and your twin boys 🌲☃️❄️
Hey how do you find out about the health status of babies do they do blood or is found on scans for the issues you mentioned about second twin. Sending love and blessings 😊
Awesome
I try to find everything you bought from Amazon on their platform but I can’t 😩
Lovely vlog Amy👬🤰
🇿🇦
Thank you so much for this Amy, I’m due in 3 weeks time and may end up having a planned c-section due to issues with my baby’s growth. I’m worried I haven’t packed enough and I haven’t even bought tiny baby despite her measuring small 🙈😩 the newborn outfits I have say over 4Ibs but I suppose it depends on her length too! I just wanted to ask, is Bradley allowed to stay with you overnight? I assume it may be different by hospital (and it may be different for twins I’m not sure) but my partner won’t be allowed to stay overnight on any of the nights 😢 it’s only visiting hours 10am-8pm in my local hospital. I’m really worried about him not being there x
❤❤
❤❤❤
So very good luck not that u need it sending all my love to u and Bradley and I can’t wait to meet your baby’s and know there names please don’t take any pain killers with u lovely they will give u what u need sending love 👨❤️💋👨🎄🏴💞
I had a c-section and still bled for about 6 weeks 😢 xx
My baby was 6lb 3 and fitted in asda tint baby for two weeks for reference 😊
I recommend a postpartum cushion helps after a c section to help with discomfort in hospital
Oh Amy I know you didn’t even notice but when you said I’ve been advised to take these constapation medication ( because it’s hard) excuse the pun. 🤣
❤
Yes you bleed with a c section and the hospital usually furnishes the pads but you can certainly bring your own pads. Gas X is a life saver as with the incision you will have air inside and I learned after 1st c section to have those. The hospital has everything for whatever you may need. They even have the breast cups. I had staples in the incision and they removed 5 days later right before I was discharged. You are very prepared and will do wonderful. I had 2 c sections and it saved my bladder 😉 here’s to happy healthy boys 💙
Hi amy im really sorry im watch you now but i love your video it was so amazing to watch i had a c - section 10 months ago and he was intic
They are very lucky little boys to have such beautiful things ❤❤❤❤ from Julie
Good Luck wiht your baby's
You are already the perfect mother. I pray for a happy birth.
The hospital normal say that slippers should be closed in not mules, check before you go.x
I would absolutely bring your up to 5lbs bag as my baby was born 36+4 weeks and was 6lb 13oz at bismuth but dropped weight very quickly as he was in icu for 6days. Another mum and hospital provided us with up to 5lb clothing he was so tiny. You also have twins so may not be a full term size baby or one would be but the other is usually abit smaller so I would definitely bring them just incase. Xx ❤
When I had my first daughter she was only 6lb 2oz My friend Rachel had twin girls the same I had my daughter and they were both bigger than my daughter They were 6lb7oz and 6lb9oz
Have nice delivery time
I recommend pillow and blanket for you and your partner
Hi im just wondering are u going to vlog ur birth journey good luck bye the way x
Hello Amy and Brad,
Hope the bàbys are ok
First of all I cannot believe anyone can be nasty to you. I hope you block them. Now back to happier things. It's so exciting and you and Bradley are going to make amazing parents. Wishing you and your Babies all the best and so looking forward to seeing them and knowing their names. I had a c section (energency) and yes I was constipated after! I remember sitting on the loo for about 2 hours a week after my daughter was born. I think it was the cocodamol. And you do bleed as your hormones settle. But you'll be so ecstatic you won't care about that. Xx
Amy take your lip balm/ lip mask ♥️
I cannot its nearly that time for the boy;s to be born
Not the dreaded maternity pads 🙈😂it’s like wearing a padded skateboard 😂I didn’t have sections but I did have stitches so the laxatives are a must but just take one tablet I don’t need two good luck xx

Not long now and you and Bradley will be holding your babies
Sending best wishes to you both x its an awful lor of bags lol id dutch the make up & things jyst take essentials. Rooms are not that big x
Leave precious jewelry at home. You never know and the first few nights are the hardest with sleep deprivation so you are not keeping track of small items.
Amy you are better off buying some senokot tablets they are a lot softer than them and let you go to the toilet without have to pull your scar as you move around for a week or two lovey xx
Yea definitely do a real good clean out for a few days ahead of time even an enema or whatever if you can stand it - anesthesia medicine constipates horribly And with the C-section recovery, any sort of strain or pushing on the tummy muscles is absolutely miserable. So yea clean out best you can before hand. I had 4 csections and wish this would’ve been better explained to me. Any poo you have left in your system before ur surgery will harden and literally feel like a tree branch coming out of you like days after your surgery
when are you giving birth?
Don’t be tempted to take your own painkillers with you, your having surgery and they have you on a cocktail of medication that you might not realise your on and risk overdosing leave that at home hun, my neighbour is a midwife of 30 years and I’ve given birth 3 times whoever gave you that advice it is terrible advice.
They made me sign documents beforehand and asked me if I wanted something before giving to me . If you say you have your own paracetamol they let you do this I’ve had 3 C sections there is an entire list of medication you have to say if you accept or object.
@@deannawilliams8791 yeah but after surgery is another ball game not to mention every hospital has different protocols some you no longer get gas and air in and when you just had surgery should you really be administering your own medication the answers no if anything happens you basically waive your rights away compensation etc
Before surgery you can communicate and ask for no medication if you wish or certain medications to be administered. After surgery you can speak for yourself and ask for medication if you want some or ask if you can take some paracetamol yourself she’s hardly taking some ketamine in with her. This is 2023 England . I personally asked for none so I could be fully with it, then asked for some after when in pain you are fully aware and in control of what’s given .
My midwifes were so busy.. they never gave me painkillers on time so i took my own and it was a lifesaver. Ive had 6 kids and did same everytime
I’ve had 2 C-sections and they have to ask yr permission first before giving any kind of medication and they have to sign it up and things they don’t don’t just give u medication without you knowing about it
I recommend a belly band and spritiz of bits and tucks pads and cooling ice pack is good for hemeroids after a c section and nipples cream for sore nipples in hospital and body and hand cream in your toiletries and hot water bottle to help the discomfort after a c section and dressing gown for walking around the hospital and adult disposable nappies are amazing after a c section and after ease drops help the uterus contration after birth and my breast feeding essential are cold gel breast pads and breast massager and sliveretts and breast shields and elvie curve for caching milk and haaker and haaker ladybug catch and hot and cold compress pads and breast feeding mask and saline nipple spray from frida mom and breast feeding pillow and breastmilk storage bags to store in a fridge or freezer and liquid i v supplement is good for electrolytes after birth and breast feeding cookies and cereal bars and hot chocolate and breast feeding tea and body armour drinks are great after birth
I’m sure you’ll have to remove your false eyelashes for hygiene purposes!x
