The way you go into detail explaining everything.. the delivery and timing.. faultless!! Many ppl might have heard the term 'forged' but not know what it actually means?? You've explained it in the simplest way possible.. Keep up the good work on the channel.. My only gripe is.. I'd love the video's to go on for longer as it's so interesting, and you get so hooked.. and then you say.. 'well that's it for now..' and then you realise the video's come to an end.. Lol.. You just want the video to go on and on.. But I guess keeping the videos this length.. keeps people hooked for the next episode.. 👍 👌

Regarding the broken piston parts it looks like the piston rocked against the cylinder walls because of the valve contact and broke the skirt

I would check the crank could be bent causing pistons to slap the cylinder and chip them

Namz your missing the carbon fiber cap on the driver side mirror? Like the colour
Does that engine have balance shafts ?? If the timing is out pistons would have hit the balance shafts and chipped them
Pistons are broken not burnt so not tune of engine
I would defo be checking crank bearings as well
Just a question how the timing belt f up before roughly 70 k miles
Hi, my cousin has an e92 320i, and it's a non runner because of incorrect camshaft timing and now he isn't sure if it needs a new engine or not please comment down any information

My question is if you was just to get it running again without any further upgrades what would have been the average cost to save the car ? As I’m assuming it takes some time to do. Crazy knowledge from you though MashaAllah. Loving the vids
I reckon the pistons have been cracked on the lower part due to the extra shock from them hitting the valves when it might have been running 🤔so good thing it went out of time I guess engine damaged could have been detrimental
Hmm that’s a good suggestion because I can’t really think of any other way except a bad tune

How much does it cost to forge a rs3 engine ?
Hi Namz, So if you were to try to get this same engine to run with minimum expediture. Would you have just put a new timing chain on. New oil & gasket and it should have worked fine?
It would literally need a new timing chain kit, gasket set and would work perfectly fine! So as far as profit margin goes it’s fully maximised but I’m taking a different direction which is forging the engine (for fun)
And replace the damaged pistons no?
My thoughts so be cheap fix so on to next level be nice bit kit done
Have you been able to make contact with previous owner? Maybe seen videos and offered information regarding the damaged engine etc. 👍🏻

I’m considering porting the head for further power will see

Mate you must be blind if you didn’t see them carbon brakes when it was on Copart also straight away I could see it was a stage 3 car with the size of that intake if you didn’t have the brains to phone peron motorsport which Is across the windscreen I phoned them before auction ended. Car was stage 3 engine blew up customer took it back to them it has since passed a couple hands and end up on Copart. Also it’s not the cheapest rs3 in the country
I still have the pictures you can’t tell at all if they are ceramics or not the spokes don’t let you see it clear enough and it’s not a big deal I couldn’t care less if it did or not the ceramics are a bonus to the purchase. Don’t be telling me about brains though I have much more of an operation over here than you have do you not have brains to do the same? You’re also telling me you can tell a car is stage 3 based on the intake? You have a fine brain mate. If you did you would have bought the car but you backed out because you’ll have to pay a garage thousands to put it right so we both know who has brains here. Those ceramics are chipped unfortunately 😮 look at the edge.
I guess il have to find out how well they work when the car gets built and tuned 😦
This repair doesn't make sense on many levels. Much of the damage is not adding up.

@@NamzBoost Having the engine parts and fluids in the trunk are the major redflags, that too with only 31000 miles.
