Any of these AWD hyper hatches, even tuned, you can launch full throttle with one hand on the wheel, none of them require any skill.
The best hyper hatch straight line races on this channel were the 920bhp m140i, that thing was wild.

@@martiangod I owned one for 4 years martian, only running 455bhp/634nm, but it was absolutely wild, a real handful and FUN.
I admit, I did actually write it off last November but I had so many great times in it. Now rolling in an OG M2, which isn't as quick (it's standard), in a straight line, but is a bit more 'predictable' when sideways lol, and still very much a FUN car.

@@CoachedbyJW I’ve heard a few people say that. If it’s number chasing then the TT ticks the boxes. If you want to feel like you are driving something and feel connected get a Porsche. My only issue with the later gens that I’d be looking to get is the 2.0 in the sound department.

The golf r was the winner of the day it won the roll race and then they drew on the drag race. The golf won the 1st draggie when the rs3 had a brake issue and then the rs3 won the second draggie when the golf had an issue. Also the golf r had faster 0 to 60 and quarter of a mile time. It wasnt a draw it was a golf r win.

The 8Y RS3 is majorly limited atm in tuning. Once the ECU is unlocked and tuned for E85, that setup should be good for 750-800hp. Right now he's about on par with a stock engine/turbo FBO stage 2 E85 8V RS3. Kudos to that Golf, it's well built.

Turbo on the VW really outflowed the RS3, and the performance showed it.
Do not underestimate a 2.0 litre turbo 👌and it's a 2.0 litre 😎

I know the sound of an engine is a personal opinion, so in reality, there can never be a 'best' sound, because it's something which is preferential to the listener, like music.
I prefer the sound of a straight 6 over anything else, but a V8, or V10, or even a V12 all sound very nice in their own unique ways.

Still, if we are comparing engine sounds of vehicles in a certain 'price range', and assuming that price is dictating this imaginary 'league' then there are still many different engines from inline 4, to flat 4, to straight 6, to V6, to V8, and V10, all in this price range league my friend.
An RS3 is a £54k car without options, so add the cost of the tuning to that, you are looking at a figure well into the £70k area.
Lot's of cars new and used for that money with different engines, even V12's.

By fully built engine what do you mean? Pistons, rods, bearings, etc? If so, what size pistons and rods? Has the motor been bored? If so, what size 83mm, 84mm, etc. Upgraded crank? Upgraded pully? What work was done to the head other than springs?

Probably isnt pushing 650hp but 650hp on one dyno could be 600 on another dyno. Also some people's cars have been road tuned so they just estimate the power.
