  • These days its down to the details that can make or break the flashlight user experience. It's not enough to have a high powered throw with super punchy bright flood or spot light capability, or a blinding strobe to stop an intruder in their tracks. Now we need programming...the fine details...making sure every aspect of the programming can be optimized for the user. That is absolutely the case for the Sofirn SC31 Pro. From the mode selection to the brightness of the power button...the SC31 Pro can be tweaked substantially. This video is a feature overview and general impressions look at this great offering from Sofirn.

    Thank you kindly for taking the time to produce this detailed review and succinctly explaining the various functions/modes which to the prospective buyer can seem a bit complicated at first glance.

    back in the days one spent a lot more on 18650 lighties. most notably my led lenser m7r. if this thing really beats it for a mere 30€ then I'd be damned big time. cheers mate for the upload

      @@outerlimitlessI am looking for a rechargeable pocket sized thrower having magnetic tailcap but I am confused between Fenix C7 & Sofirn SC31 Pro.
      Please guide

    The floor level brightness (moonlight, 1 lumen) on this SC31Pro is a MUCH lower brightness than the moonlight 1 lumen brightness on the smaller Sofirn SP10V3. Both are supposed be 1 lumen but there's a huge brightness difference.

    Love mine, for me it's greater than Thrunite and Olight in this category.

    Great review. I’m close to two years on my SC31 Pro. My button is wearing down. That might be the only thing that kills this light. My only complaint is the finish. I wish they would type 3 hardcoat them.

    I hope they make an update by adding an SOS beacon preset on the strobe mode.. Can somebody recommend me a flashlight that does that?

    I just saw your review and enjoyed your opinion of this little powerhouse. I went to buy one but your link is only for the 5000K version. I prefer whiter lights. They seem to give better throw. Is it possible to edit your comments to include the discount code to also work for the 6500K model? Thanks for the info.

    • @outerlimitless
      @outerlimitless  Před 3 lety

      I don't have another discount code. I'll reach out to the representatives if I can get one but I suspect I might not hear back as they are on their national New Year holiday.

      @@outerlimitless Thanks for the quick reply and info. Your current code has a pretty long runtime so maybe I'll just hang out a little to see if they are responsive to your request. I am in no hurry.

      @Baron de Lestac With the $5 off coupon and the discount code the Amazon price is $24.24 with free Prime shipping and delivery tomorrow. outer limitless probably gets some brownie points besides. I'd rather he get the credit. Besides, the Sofirn .org already got the sale to Amazon.

    Hello,,you're version is 5000k and i heard if that version can't reach maximum output (2000 lumens) approximately 1600-1800lumens ,,only 6500k version can reach max output 2000lumens,,there is true?

    • @outerlimitless
      @outerlimitless  Před 3 lety

      I have no idea. It's bright, and it has great programming. I'm not typically impressed at lumen total output... rather I prefer candela and programming to be high performance

      @@outerlimitless by the why i have this flashlight too and my version is 6500k (cool white),,but the tint i think isn't pure cool white/CW it's a yellow bit when the high mode and greenish when lowest mode.

      O Light is made in china and it's considered one of the best torches around. several great knives and tools are being made in china too now. that's not an indicator of quality anymore.
