Hi Cara. Greetings from a sunny U.K. 🌞 When my 21 year old daughter was about 14, she and her friends would obsessively watch CZcams videos on make up and skincare. A bit bonkers I thought at the time but here I am at 55 watching this from start to finish! Thank you, really enjoyable. I think there is something just quite restful watching people go through their ritual/ routine.
Wow I have been using coconut oil , organic without the bad stuff and for eye make up remover and face to hydrate as well ..but everyone says coconut oils is not good for skin lol well I guess I have been doing it right ! Turmerics messy but it’s so worth it! If you don’t want to stain your pillow face masks work wonders too. I mix the turmeric with almond yogurt and leave it on while I watch a movie.

Ty so much Cara! I too use coconut oil though I see many dermatologists scorn it. Sometimes I think it is because they can't make a lot of money on it. I am now in my mid sixties and have always been complemented on my unbelievably lovely skin. I learned the technique from my islander friends whose families have used it for many generations only now to hear some educated new arrival scorn it. Those ladies skin was just amazing and they only used simple things. I learned to slather it all over my body after a good brushing and then to shower. Be careful it's slippery so wear shower shoes! I used to bathe in it when our family went camping and then towel it off. I had pre-mixed in an essential oil like peppermint or clary sage etc., and carried it in my sack as it serves a multitude of purposes. Close it tight because in warm temps* it melts down. Afterwards I am clean fresh and moisturized on the cheap! One must experiment. What works for one might not work for another as with commercial products! You both are such an positive addition to my life! Ty so!
I always use lemon juice (on cotton pad and gently put on my face) every night for few days before big event. Skin is so glowing and smooth after that

I sleep like this now too, absolutely slathered in thick moisture!! I absolutely love, love, love Weleda Skin Food for a thick and nourishing moisturiser, I use it as a barrier cream ( occlusive ) over multiple layers of essences I use and then vitamin e oil or serums, my face is a thick white mask at night and I am so stoked that I have learned to sleep on my back through the night so I can slather my face in goodness overnight and also avoid all of the wrinkles that side sleeping gives my face and chest! I would love a current morning routine from you Cara!! ( Also sleeping with a humidifier is brilliant for keeping moisture locked into your skin ) xo

I used pure vitamin E oil a night for years and always joke with my husband that he ruined my skin because he was always commenting on my super oily/shiny skin at night before bed! Ha. But I don't care...going back to it and just LOVE the way my skin feels in the morning. Thank you for this cute video! I worked in cosmetics for 15+ years.
I have used Eve Lom muslin cloths for years and Adore them!They last forever, toss in washer, I stopped putting them in dryer b/c they dry so quick. Altho they are $30 for 2 it’s worth the piped edging.
I also love Buly products out of Paris. A lot are organic now but quality, old world remedies & uniqueness superior.

Nice video..I'm a guy and my skin is flawless all I been using for years is just seamoss gel and rinse with cold water and that's it I dont put any moisturizer cause I drinks lots of water
