That wouldn’t work for me. I just don’t have the knack for this work. I enjoy watching others do it, but I always get too dirty for what little I do, I sweat profusely, crack my knuckles against hard surfaces when wrench let’s go, gouge my skin, get nasty debris in my eyes (once got a metal splinter in my eye - went to doctor 3 days later and he said it’s good I didn’t wait too much longer as it was starting to rust!), break anything that can be broken, drop small and critical parts into dark irretrievable crevices or they ricochet across the room, never to be found until I don’t care anymore. Glad to let others do it.
If some people can get satisfaction seeing cysts and pimples pop, I don’t think it’s too weird to enjoy watching procedures done well on automobiles. 😃

Great video, and a smart trick I learned from a friend and
mechanic. When you are working on the brakes hydrolics,
depress the brakepedal and lock it in place before you start.
That way you block the master cylinder whitch will let no fluid
thru the brakelines. There"ll be next to no spilled brakefluid
    on the ground. Works great:)

Right over the gas tank and never even zip tied it to anything. The thing rattled over every bump. They never remove the old line and while they were there. They knocked the vacuum hose off my vacuum reservoir for my HVAC mode door, so all I had was floor.

They always seem to rot out near the rear axle mounts where the fuel pump is. I have actually shot blasted and epoxied a couple of these that had bad patches but were low mileage including my own.

When I have to do brake lines I dread going into the job but while I'm doing it things go along. I don't have much luck getting the brake lines off the wheel cylinders or the bleeders loose and that makes the job tough. Brake fluid on the hands isn't great either. I've never done factory pre bend lines and have just found the copper/nickel lines. I hope I never do a sub frame on anything. Thanks for the video again Mr. O. Always interesting and informative.

Back in the rust. This is why I come to this sight. Drinking a cup of Black Rifle coffee and watching Eric O. doing his stuff is enjoyable. Thanks Eric for getting our day started in the right direction.

Eric, you're turnin' rust! Oh wait that's those Texas guys, Oops! You're "dealing" with rust! That's a different trip. Always makes me glad to live in New Mexico-the no rust capitol. Congrats as you prevail once again! Cheers!

@@vincentlallo6543 Gotcha. I wasn't familiar with this product - mostly just know about the fluid film type products. I live in the rust-free desert but I like to keep tabs on products that can help friends in the frozen North. I'll have to research this one, thanks!

Rust in my britches, I wish I could say that’s never happened to me but it has along with molten slag in my sneaker, a mistake you don’t make twice! It ruins your sock! Now I wear boots when I’m welding!

for motor cycles you have one way valves for break lines bleeding. I use them for cars so can do it alone. nice check valve.
