- We have tons and tons of wrecked RC airplanes that will never see the skies again. We figured we would take all the broken planes and slap them together to make one awesome FRANKEN PLANE! This DIY scratch built monstrosity actually flew pretty well and we were even able to chase it with a mini race quad until it met it's demise.

The fact these guys seem completely oblivious to the snow falling around them because they’re having so much fun is awesome!
Watching Stefan get wildly excited about everything is the highlight of my day.
The world needs more videos like this one. When the first landing happened at zero airspeed, I instantly thought that a couple of drone lift motors on the wingtips would completely make it into a VTOL plane, to be landed anywhere.
I love this stuff! I have to be honest, the goofy, inventive, off the wall creativity is something that David and Peter were prolific at, and I miss frequently seeing this type of shenanigans on the FT channel!
come on, you still find it in most vlogs :) the episodes feel too sterile and everyone misses Josh S. :(

I love how one of the small planes ejected right before the crash. Like, it said, F this, I'm out! Lmao! And I agree with Peter Sripol. This is the flite test we all remember!

What are the chances of a Mothership? A big ol' kraken with several mini planes that separate off and can be flown.
Or a large plane made up of 3+ smaller planes. You flip a switch and separate them to fly each separately.

I have a great Idea for your your next collosal build .lol.listen to this:build a pretty reasonable size Hot wire ,one that will get really hot .set it up outside and have a contest to see how many times you can fly into the hot wire ,each time slicing off sections of each plane until you can't fly any more .the last one still flying with most damage WINS.Your Welcome ;) one ky hillbilly who loves watching flight test.
These flying monstrosities are what makes FT great! all it needs now is tactical GI Joe paratroopers!

Craziness, and outrageous fun! I love the creativity you guys have. I quit the RC flying club I was involved with because I just wanted to have fun with the hobby, they made it a drag. It looks like with the wind blowing straight onto the dirt-pile you could probably slope-soar back and forth along the edge. The free flight model at the end definitely lifted as it flew out from the slope but once it got out of the narrow lift band it started to lose height. Great fun video :)

I'd love to see you guys take a fully functional rc tank that can shoot bb's / pellets and make it fly, while still keeping all of the tanks original functions, and then maybe attempt to use the tanks gun in the air to shoot down another plane or something
