I can say I do like the quality of Polygon bikes. I don’t have one myself but I did recommend a buddy to buy the T7. I built it for him, and I loved how well packaged the bike was. Extremely easy to assemble, and the performance has been great for someone that’s new to the sport.
So far it is super nice. I wish I didn't have the frame issue but it is what it is. I feel that this bike despite the weight is going to be a killer bike. It feels great going down my trail so getting it out on local trails will be a blast.
I've had the T8 for over a year now, and I would highly recommend saving a few more dollars and going for the T8. You get an entire Shimano SLX drivetrain, a Fox 34 fork, Fox DPH shock, and a few other smaller upgrade. The Fox 34 by itself makes up for the price difference.
And the dropper post lever is pretty much trash. ;-)
I picked up a well use ‘19 Siskiu N8 for £750 with some choice parts (Fat bars, GX trans, SLX brakes, pile of tyres)
I’ve since added new wheels (E532/Halo) , Sus rebuild, 165GX crank & raw polished the frame. I’m less than £1500 in and it’s a flipping rocket!
It feels more like a LT trail bike than an Enduro.
It’s the perfect do it all bike for me, it can send 30ft’rs at bike parks, near vertical DH but I can also happily crack out a 4hr XC ride.
Love it so much.
Polygon T7 user here. Great bike and can handle trails. Upgraded brakeset with slx quad, disc front and rear 203 mm, full slx 1x12 groupset, and spank short stem and slight elevated handlebar
Great upgrades. I am a huge fan of SLX.
My new t7 that arrived yesterday came with the shimano ms hub and with the real deore 12s cassette not the black sunrace branded one and it even came with the polygons "expert series" on all the touchpoints + saddle.
Weird that they can differ so much.. keep up the good content!😁
Yeah from what I have been told the bike industry is still having a hard time sourcing parts. So I think it is whatever they can get for that run of the build line. Congratulations on the new ride.

Just got a 2018 Marin Rift Zone 1 to supplement my Polygon Siskiu D6. The D6 has been upgrades to a GX Eagle Drivetrain, SLX Brakes, Raceface Wheels, and Reba fork for a 29 lb XC Race build. The Rift Zone is going to get a Deore 11spd Drivetrain with Deore brakes, Stans Flow wheels, and Pike fork. Can’t wait to get it upgraded to rip.

As far a dropper levers are concerned I think its not the best place to spend cash. I have 2 E-Thirteen which are Nice and have bearings, I have an X-Fusion that came with that post as well as a couple of Ebay versions that have a bearing along with the stock one on my Polygon D6. When Im riding I I dont use the dropper and nearly as much as the brakes and when I do , all of them work the same to me. Riding through a rough trails I don't notice if one has a bearing or not. They all drop the post and let it come back up just fine. The expensive levers are just eye candy.That is fine to buy but its not a need. :)

I am working on it now. There was a long delay due to the frame issue on the Polygon. The 2nd video should be out later this week.
I recently bought the trek marlin 8, but is it smart to buy this bike besides that other bike? And can you use it for bike parks?
The Marlin is a great bike and falls in what I would consider XC style of mountain bikes. Since it has 100mm of front travel. The T7 is a Trail bike. Meaning it has longer travel and a more aggressive head tube angle. Both bikes have a 12 speed but the T7 has thru axles front and back. If you don't have a lot of rough trail where you ride the Marlin is a great bike but if you are going to be hitting some rougher trail. You might consider getting the T7.

How is the shifting with the Sun Race Cassette? Mine skip a few cogs on the up shift and also on the down shift..
Sunrace cassettes are not the best. Its doing ok now but I definitely like the deore cassettes better

Very fond of Giant bikes. But I haven't rode that model.
What was wrong with the frame? Had a T7 and now have a T8.
The rear seat stays where not straight. Causing and issue with the rear shock alignment.

That is not too bad of a price. However you will not have a warranty with that bike. When you buy it new you will get the warranty with it.

Just buy the Marin. They fixed their low stack issue IMO. I’ve used the Marin frame replacement 2 times one on my b-17/2 and on my Riftzone 3 zero hassle no bs new frames.
I broke the frame and it was my fault. My dropper insertion was not deep enough cracking the gusset at the seat tube. Absolutely not Marin’s fault. I ride real hard and fully trust their bikes. May get the San Quentin 3 end of this year.
Full suspension 5yr replacement and lifetime on hardtail on original new purchaser add that in your reviews. People complain about Santa Cruz hi price but man they got your back worth the extra on Either companies.

The T8 is an awesome bike. What are you looking to use it for. The T7 and T8 have a lot of travel. If your trails are rough then it is a great pick but if you are looking at smoother more xc style trails you might consider a different bike. Like the Polygon Syncline, Xtrada, or D series.

It would be a great bike for that. You never know what trail type you will get with those.

The seatstays has a flaw. Had to be replaced. I am planning on talking about it in my final review video in a few weeks.

@gerardpadayao5947 it was a little bent so it was not aligned correctly causing some rubbing on the rear shock.
Would dh forks go with the frame ?
I guess you could put a DH fork on it but it could really mess with the geo. It is more of a trail bike with enduro features. DH is going to push it pretty hard.
There is a giant FB page full of cracked polygons scares me away from them
I've heard of that. I've had a T8 in size small for over a year now. And I'm a 240 pound dude that rides really hard. I'm not worried about it. :-D
Your company Bikesonline sold me a bike with defective wheels and is making me wait over 3 months for new replacements then I have to go to pay my bike shop to rebuild everything with a promise that Bikesonline will reimburse me. Your operation needs help! Your warranty person did everything to deny my claim until I threatened to call Polygon myself. I have bought three new bikes from you this year for over $5,000 and feel like I've been dumped on. All I want is for my brand new bike to work now, not months from now. My declining confidence and past regard for Bikesonline has reached a new low.
