  • I made a real life iron man suit that was wearable and can stand on it's own as it's sculpture! As part of the project build, I 3D printed several iron man model pieces using cheap, beginner 3D printers! I also built my own arc reactor to sit in the chest piece of the iron man suit. Finally, I painted the entire suit the iconic gold and red tony stark colors. Subscribe for part 2!

    This is a really cool project. Great work!
    I use a throwaway harbor freight soldering iron to weld 3d printed pieces from the inside. I use the ends of filament rolls and then melt them with the soldering iron to melt the seams together. I have found that it holds a little better than CA glue, especially on wearables.
