What's your favorite Marvel movie and what are you working on?!
Favorite movie is very difficult, but I’m printing a White dino thunder helmet !
@@oscargutierrez970 the dino thunder helmets are so clean, Definitely doing those too
Captain America is still my favorite Marvel movie. Currently reprinting a Concept White Ranger helmet to hopefully actually fit my big ol' head.
@@fantasiaworkshop when cap first comes out the machine will always be so epic
Iron Vengeance Helmet
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!!! SUIT IS CRAZY!!!
Thank you so much 🙏 super proud of this one
Great video, you've got so much useful information in here for noobies and pros alike, I can't wait to see what comes next!!
Man thanks so much for commenting, gonna have to get one of your helmets on the channel soon 🤘
Solid insight man! Glad I could help ya out along the way!
Your help was crucial to this finish man!
Great break down on building the suit! Keep it up!
Thanks gonna keep pushing 🤘
Appreciate you giving a detailed insight on the build process!
Thanks man, can't wait to see the newest 46 🤘
Great video ! I just started on my MK46 and these videos will be super helpful :)
SUPER happy to help!
🔥🔥🔥🔥 another epic vid from my favorite YT’er & 3D print maker!!! 🤘🏾😎
You're the best man
These kind of videos are a huge inspiration and help. I've begun printing my own suit, and being able to see multiple people's steps and advice just makes it feel not so daunting.
Also my favorite MCU movie is Iron Man 3, and the suit I'm printing is the Mark 33 "Silver Centurion" from Do3D
Silver centurion is an awesome looking suit, it is a big task but definitely do able. Stay focused and just know every step is gonna take longer than you can imagine
Dog Terrence Howard looking at the suit at the end: “next time.” 😂
Seriously though amazing job on the finish. Top tier paint job!!
Thanks really pushed myself on this one
Another great in depth video.
You're the man dylan
Too kind! Thanks 🙏
Awesome work !! Keep it up look forward to these videos!!
Oscar thanks so much for supporting 🙏 I appreciate it so much
Will definitely help many builders to come!
🤘 definitely the whole reason I make these vids
Dope suit. Dope video. looking forward for the detailed acetone and spot putty video. I tried it with wood filler but I think I didn’t mix it well enough because i ended up with a lot of air pockets.
i really dont enjoy wood filler because it reactivates in water and it gunks up the sand paper so easily
Thanks for this video series. So useful. The best I have seen.
That means a lot thank you!
@@SaturdayMorningProps It is the details like printing orientation and why you do things a certain way that make your videos great to watch.. :)
Awesome video man great job 👍 🔥
Thank yah
Great video man! Keep it up!
Had to give you a shout-out for the hvlp advice when I was in the middle of harbor freight 🤣
This is dope bro 😎
Thanks I love this suit 🙏
IRON MAN 3 🥰🥰
Looks amazing bro!
Thank you 🙌
Let’s go that’s so cool.
It's so cool to do a whole suit 🤘
Great work Dillion!
🙌 thank you crazy having this suit in the house+
looks great man
Thank you! Super proud
Hey man, great video! I have a strange question for you. Where did you find those PVC corner pieces you use in your spray booth? Those look extra reinforced and I'd love to find something similar near me, but don't know what to call them. All I find is corner connectors that are straight small pvc connectors. Anyway, thanks for the videos, great stuff!
My spray booth is a grow tent on Amazon, I linked it in my newest video how to paint in the cold
Blade or maybe even Blade II would be in my favorites tier of Marvel movies. You should really think about 3D printing Blades cloak. Would be pretty awesome! 🤣👌🔥💯
Great suggestion!
Thanks
Holy cow I didn't even know this was a thing! Thank you so much!
@@SaturdayMorningProps More than welcome. :)
Thanks for posting this. I’m gearing up to tackle my very first iron man suit. I’m going to be pursuing a Mk2 build. But I have a ton of concerns. I am extremely unfamiliar with knowing my way around electronics: so lighting, faceplate automation, wiring, switches, battery packs… it’s all going to be new territory for me. Also, while I’ve been 3d printing for about a year now.. I’ve never made something that NEEDS to fit the wearer as perfectly as an iron man suit does. I’ve never used armorsmith before. And with the expense of this project, even for someone who knows what they’re doing… the cost of the build is enough to make me nervous about all of the trial and error prints that I’m going to inevitably end up needing to do. Sizing the helmet I think is one of my biggest concerns. Not only to make it to the right size for my head, but to make sure there is room for electronics later.
I think the paint is an important step in the process, but not really one I’m even concerned with yet, as I have so much to do before I even think about sanding and paint.
I will say this though: I think building an iron man suit is the literal pinnacle of 3d printing for me. It would be a dream come true to have a few variations of the different iron man suits, let alone just one.
Definitely will have tutorials for electronics coming, and reprints definitely happen and some pieces may fail while printing. Don't let it get you down and just push through it. I have a helmet sizing tutorial and just scale the helmet about 2% larger for motorization 👍 here for any questions
@@SaturdayMorningProps I really appreciate that. And yes, I’m quite familiar with your helmet sizing tutorial. I have used it on my mando helmets and even my one year old sons grogulorian helmet. However, I find the “sizing heads” models to be quite difficult to use when sizing an iron man helmet. It is far from your ordinary bucket shape. Some people seem to use a removable magnetic jaw for a better fit.. but I’d prefer to only have one moving piece on my helmet (the faceplate). Which, again, makes sizing the helmet challenging. I think mostly because of the “lip” that wraps around the bottom of the helmet. I don’t want to look like an iron man bobble head. 🤦♂️
Will you do other Iron Man suits ? Or things totally differents ?
Both I have another iron man planned but plenty other stuff, more power rangers, Star wars and more
I want the software
My favorite movie is the avengers 2012 with the mk7 which is the suit I made. I am currently making a captain Rex cosplay
You're awesome man, and excited to see that rex!
@@SaturdayMorningProps thanks so much I’m gonna start it after Christmas im going to get another printer so it will go by quicker
@@camtron1967 what printer are you gonna be getting
@@SaturdayMorningProps Neptune 4 max
@@camtron1967 that'll be awesome!
It's gotta be Infinity War for me with Thor Ragnarök a close 2nd
Ragnarok is definitely up there for me, I need to give infinity war and end game a rewatch
How much would you be able to sell one of these for ???
I've seen them as low as 4k up to 10k everyone's quality is different and you have to have the buyer
can you provide me with the file of the 3d model
Do3d.com mk 46 20% off with code SMP20
Can you print a full iron man suit with a Bambu lab p1s?
You'd have to split it a ton but yes
@@SaturdayMorningProps what other printer do you recommend for the bigger pieces?
@@randysem7848 this was all printed on a cr10 so a k1 max could knock it out easy
@@SaturdayMorningProps oh wow . I didn't know that. Thank you for the info brother. Much appreciated
Could you do a full Ninja Turtles suit? That would be pretty awesome
I want to do a full helmet one day
once i get a bigger printer i want to make the superior iron man suit
Oh heck yeah
You talk about the community and asking for help in this video. Where are you finding that community? I get lots of help from reddit on general 3d printing questions, but radio silence when I ask about making suits, etc. Where do these makers hang out?
for me I'm active on istagram. I often can send a message to a maker on there about a question and get an answer pretty easily. I also run a discord where we all chat its linked in the bio
instructions unclear, my 3d printer blew up
Did you try unplugging and plugging back in
Ironman
heck yeah!
