- In today's video, I reviewed how I make $300 a month selling firewood at 14 years old. From log to stand. I got started with some wood from a neighbor who is moving away, and I now have many cords of wood and still more soon. I took inspiration from @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans and @FirewoodattheFurnace. I hope to grow my business doing wood and lawn care. Some equipment I hope to have in the future is a @ScagPowerEquipment stand-on mower and an @EastonmadeWoodSplitters Ultra.

As someone who knows oliver very well and has been to his house this is all legit he self made and he has the perfect routuine
Awesome work Oliver. A great example of what any young persona can do if they're given the opportunity and means to do so. Keep doing what you do.
Dude, you’re like me nonstop working as hard as you can to keep accomplishing your goals while still loving to work with whatever industry you’re in, example I’m in that grass cutting industry 🤙🏻, It’s therapeutic for me to spend hours and hours mowing, weed whacking snowblowing, etc. keep up the good work man👏
Yes the MS 261 is an amazing saw
You are an absolute legend and I hope you keep up this great work! Save and invest your money, and you'll be better off than most adults by the time you're out of school. Be well!
@@michaelchyles I also do lawn care, but yes.
Since you are only 14, I'm curious as to how you get all your lawn equipment from lawn to lawn....sounds like a great video to make as well Oliver. Keep doing what you do.
He used to pull a wagon. Now he pulls it with a small tractor.
That’s awesome and great work lil bro! 💯
Awesome setup you got! Have you thought of trying twine to tie the bundle? A natural fiber twine will reduce plastic waste and could also be thrown in the fire by the customer so there is no waste! I have also seen people use the twine to tie a handle on the bundle for easy carrying. Keep up the great work, subscribed for more!!
I would just throw the plastic into the fire.
Hello, I love the videos
You should put a fire wood sign where it’s more visible for people to see
The VDOT d*ckheads took it down... but they leave alone the signs posted everywhere that say "empathy"...
The prices you have, I’ll tell you what I’d be there 3 times a week for those prices. If I was local I’d pay that any day
Great job Oliver! Venmo is kinda risky I hear tho.
Wow your a go getter great video I love seeing young people working hard and striving to do better for themselves Im a chain saw logger so i respect the amount of work junking wood keep it up you will succeed!! Great choice with a stihl saw 261 is the best on the market im from Nova Scotia best of luck to you
Would it be easier to drive the wedge off to one side of the log?
i would Recommend a mini. sledgehammer for the wedge
@@bunnycifer_ no. Too little weight and too small. A longer tool makes it split easier.
@@OliverDiGeronimo009 oh oki
idk what the firewood situation is in the US, but where I live we pay around 150$ for a cord of unprocessed wood, you just gotta buck and split it, and comparing that to the infamous 25$ stand it does look a lil crazy, but at the end of the day they are paying for your labour too so I support you
Do a video like this on lawn care
Stay tuned...
Of course the DOT complains about a firework stand and not something that’s a real issue
Lol. There is a street in my neighborhood that has been replaced almost 12 F*CKING TIMES in the last year because all the gas work. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
My mum would freak out me using that thingy I think it be kool iam just 12 an my papa let me hold his one time
I am happy to see a young man wanting to work this hard . If you can make the splits smaller . It will really help you out in the long run . But splitting by hand is not an easy task .
Oliver keep it up man I don’t live near town but please recommend me a good side hustle
Firewood
@@OliverDiGeronimo009 ok I like it but were would I put my stand by the highway

Ya only make $300 a month??? But good job brother! You could be a millionaire!!
You ever sell it by truck load?
Nope
What happens if people still your wood without paying
The security video is posted on Nextdoor.
What money box did you use?
A metal one from Amazon.
