    That large GPU fitment is going to be a big issue for me, I think I'll avoid this casing. Thank you for the review!

    The TUF 4090 fits in there horizontally just fine at around 9mm more clearance. I'd say this was a GPU error on Asus' part and not a case problem. There is no reason this card needed to be bigger than the 4090, but I have a slight feeling that this was done on purpose by Asus to sell more of their Nvidia cards. AMD has always been an afterthought to them.

      Thx for clarifying this. I did discover that Asus made a revision a few months ago that negates the need to cut the chassis to fit the gpu but glad to know my TUF 4090 will fit.

    Thanks for your honest review. I like to add one thing around the front power button might need an LED illumination light after switching off all RGB fan lights. So, we can understand that the CPU is still in case of having any power or other issues.

    You have to slightly angle the card and get past the framework, then tilt and slide into place. There are literally 50+ builds on CZcams that fits these cards with no issue.

    I watched your video and I was looking to get this case. What you said scared me because I have a tuf 7900xtx but I went ahead and bought the case anyway and guess what. Mine is cut out for the GPU to pass thru. You got a bad case or a early version I guess but the one I got today has the cutout. Just thought I'd let viewers know. And no you definitely couldn't of got that GPU in with your case. Mine still barely fits.

    Good review 👍 I found only 240 aio for tuf. Strange thing. how do you think, what for this 360 fans panel between chambers. wouldn't it be more effective to install it in bottom slot. Also rear fan without tower CPU cooler is more like a decoration imho

    • @TheTanelChannel
      @TheTanelChannel  Před rokem +2

      Thanks Oleksander?! It might be but it looks cool like this, I dont think there is much temperature differences but I can always install another extra 3 fans at bottom which is nice. I did review RYUO 3 and RYUJIN II in TUF GT502 case on i9 13900K, these reviews are coming next week!

    • @oktuberfest
      @oktuberfest Před rokem

      @@TheTanelChannel I'm thinking of installing available tuf 240 aio with additional third fan just for symmetry. But then I should find the way to mount it on the same level with another two fans mounted to aio radiator.

    • @deuswulf6193
      @deuswulf6193 Před rokem +1

      @@oktuberfest If you do a 360 aio with tubes on the side of the pump, you can actually hide the tubes by having them travel down towards the side panel slots (the one in between the chambers). Looks really good, especially when you vertically mount the GPU. I'd recommend the Tuf AIO btw unless you want it more for the looks, its not the best performing and even loses out to a few good air coolers.

  • @deuswulf6193
    @deuswulf6193 Před rokem

    Asus definitely cut corners in this one, which is disappointing given its price point. Including a few TUF fans with the argb controller would have been a nice touch, as well as a tuf themed vertical mount kit that actually had some style to it. Good case over all, picked one up when it came out.

    • @RetroTeddyBear
      @RetroTeddyBear Před 11 měsíci

      They didn't cut enough corners apparently, as the corner had to be cut to fit the GPU with the same namesake xD

    • @deuswulf6193
      @deuswulf6193 Před 11 měsíci

      @@RetroTeddyBear Not necessarily. Vertical mounting is ideal for this case, and in this video, he did not put the mount at the lowest possible setting, which would hide the connector as the side panel has a thick non transparent border.
      For horizontal mounting, at least for the 7900xtx, it appears you have to install the GPU on the mobo first, then screw it into the case. Obviously this is not ideal, but it is doable without physically cutting the case.
      Finally, the Asus TUF 4090, which I have, fits just fine. The issue seems to be with the AMD card, which is odd that it doesn't fit. If AMD's reference card can be thinner, and less chunky, so could ASUS's, but they didn't opt for that route. I'm guessing they just assumed you would vertically mount it at that point.

    6:26 aaaahhh heeere we gooo.. now we are cooking with FIRE!!! this is me... every every PC build, every case, i end up "Frankenstine-ing" my rigs, especially the chasis/cases lmao... i currently have 3 Asus Z11s that i just keep purchasing because... a.) imo its a sexy looking case and brilliant design b.) because Asus designed the Z11 for form factor / mini ITX builds, but made the damn thing so oversized that it defeated the whole purpose of regulating it to a form factor size of mini/micro, so in a nutshell, the product FLOPPED dead on its fucking FACE mainly because of its MSRP of a WHOPPING 300$ at launch... which leads me to reason C.) because of the level of FAILURE of this product, you can easily purchase one for 60$ sometimes! used/refurbished or if you want new, 150... i have purchased 1 brand new one, and 2 used and il tell you, the 2 "used" were better than the *new" Lol dont ask me why... so ya, i have a slight addiction to buying Z11s... i also resell them for 100$ on craigslist when need cash and they always fly.. oh ya... the original point... because the Z11 is so sexy to me, i have STUFFED my Asus z390 E ATX mobo into this tiny case aloing with trhe rest of my Strix shit, except i have a Asus RTX 3050 dual.. onlly non strix item..
