Although only in Queens NY Shea Stadium could get unbelievably cold & especially windy as it was right off Flushing Bay and being a open air stadium those Nov & Dec games could get brutal. I was too young to see a Jets game at Shea (they left after 1983) but my Uncle had season tickets for most of the Jets existence there.
