My issue with Snake and it’s a very wide spread issue is the lack communication and customer service. I’ve been on the fence on buying one for at least a year. But a lot of the guys in the Hondata Tuning Forum on Facebook seem to be just as weary as me. There’s not a lot of information and not a lot of people running it or the dealers are like independent dealers or something. Huntertuned just did a video tuning one and it seems finicky while tuning. Of course you get what you pay for but I mean if it’s more trouble and hassle than it’s worth saving the extra money idk.
We have used several units since they relaunched products. This one in use during the video is the 5th. The bugs are typically in the software from HTS that I see. Once configured the snake seems to function properly all the time. You said it best. If your looking for a polished off the shelf retail solution there are other alternatives that may have better support and UI. For the cost, this is hard to pass up. Thanks for watching
