    This is such great information. Everyone else has forgotten the 2nd gen LT1. Thank you soooo much.

    Did my pcm flash with flashhack and a mail order tune from bryan herter for 50 bucks! Only thing is you need the correct XDF file if you want to edit your bin with tunerpro or else you end up with some wonky values...
    I actually wrote a thread on the Impala forums on adjusting the speedo with these exact tools so it's a great way to get started for newer people like me.

    This is a great video. Please make more content on this stuff!! I have had a couple of mail order tunes for my car since 2018. It is closer now but still not right. I am so frustrated about ready to put it back to stock!😅

      I'll make sure to do what I can. Just knowing that there is software available really helps us ol LT1 guys out.

      Yes I can flash OBD2. I prefer not to do mail order because I cannot get it exactly correcdt without driving the car. I can give it a try though. Give me an email at Karl@EllweinEngines.com and I can give you a quote for the tune

      @EllweinEngines  Před 4 měsíci

      No. Never have. I would have to spend months learning to figure that out.

    I use the same cables for my lab top to car (mine is a 94 ) .. mainly using their stuff for logging .... but never did any tuning through them ... not smart enough to tune and leave it up to guys like you to tune the car lol all I do is provide logging information

      The SpearTech cable? Mine has been working like a champ for many years.

    Whats an inexpensive labtop so i can do this?

      @EllweinEngines  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I think any windows based lap top that has a good battery life. The laptop does not need video RAM and does not need to be a gamer PC. But it does need a USB C or USB B port.

    Can i do this with a 91 Corvette?;or is it eeprom only?

    • @EllweinEngines
      @EllweinEngines  Před 8 měsíci

      No unfortunately this would not be easy with the eprom PCM . But some sort of set up is probably available for Terminator X

    Have you tried DataCat for logging OBD1? Nice videos!

    • @EllweinEngines
      @EllweinEngines  Před 2 lety

      Thanks and I have not tried DataCat. How do you like DataCat? Do you use it?

    • @antoniarogate6788
      @antoniarogate6788 Před 2 lety +1

      @@EllweinEngines Yes I use it and it works good. I also use a wideband linked through the a/c and it reads it via DataCat. Also note that I logged into CZcams through my daughters account. Thank you, Steve
