- In this video I show you how to cook stocked trout to make it taste delicious. I go trout fishing at a small pond on trout opening day. Catching trout was tricky with the high fishing pressure at the pond, but after a lot of hours I finally caught the trout I needed for the recipe. I show you how to make pan fried rainbow trout with onions, avocado and a delicious lemon butter sauce with capers. This recipe is guaranteed to make your stocked trout taste delicious.
