Thanks!
Good informative vlog. Why is it that you always get at least one person, with no life, that has to put a thumbs down; it’s sad. Keep up the good work; safe travels.
Thank you for these videos. Going to France next year with my dog in my campervan and as I’m travelling alone and going to Europe for the first time, these videos have been very, very helpful. Did laugh at your dog barking at the doors on the train. Dogs do bark at the silliest things! 😂🐶. Thanks again 👍
I like Your dog barking at the doors
Thanks Bob and Jenny, excellent and informative as usual. Welcome back to Blighty 😄👍🏻🇬🇧 Trev
Most enjoyable & informative as usual, thanks once again 👍

Good video tyvm
Welcome back to the UK
Super step by step vlog of the Euro tunnel! gives a great insight for those who have never been on it before 😊 it’s such a great concept it’s hard to believe that you travel under water for
Over 30 miles - heres hoping Brexit won’t make it a more complex affair with borders customs and pet passports - safe travels home 😊
They have moved it now, its actually left before the check in booths now. Its well signed but worth knowing. Info correct as at 2023.
Thanks for this excellent informative video, going to the UK from Germany next week, was a bit worried :)
Please remember a lot has changed in 4 years!
for a first-timer like myself, I wondered why this lovely couple didnt show how to order the ticket.....
We ordered the Euro Tunnel tickets from the Caravan and Motorhome Club when we booked some of the sites we stayed at. You can book tickets from Euro Tunnel’s own website. This was filmed in 2018.
Hi bob and Jenny well come home great lnfo on arriving to get on shuttle bak to UK can I ask how long r u on shuttle for bak to UK is it cheaper by ferry or shuttle glad u had safe journey home and your Europe videos were great nice one guys .kev
Thanks, I think the ferry is often cheaper, but the eurotunnel takes just 35 minutes and avoids any risk of seasickness.
2017 I went back to the UK from Bulgaria on a minibus with my WESTIE got to the pet control and the vet in Bulgaria had not given me his passport so had to wait 3 hours for the vets to open and get a passport, what a nightmare it was and I was not popular on the bus, he has passed away February 2018 still miss him.
hello, did you and your pet go from Calais to Folkstone with a minibus?? Do you remember the minibus company? I wonder how to plan this part of my trip with public transport going through eurotunnel....
Thank you for the video - it's very helpful. I'm curious whether yous got your passport's stamped at the UK border control when leaving France?
No, but this is a video from 2018, a lot has changed since then. In October 2024 they are introducing the fingerprint and retina scans.
Hello Bob and Jenny, its Wednesday Oct 3 here 0940hrs, bit of a rainy morning here, very little wind, clearing this afternoon for my daily walk. Lina's at work.
You'll be glad to be heading for home, nice sunny morning for your trip. Actually i think the weather favoured you pretty much. Is it coming out of summer now in Europe? On a personal note, just curious, is it a hired van and if so, plenty available here for your future vacation plans. Regards, Bob.
Thanks, it's a great time to travel as the weather is pretty good and the sites are quiet. It's our own motorhome, we've had motorhomes since 2003. You might want a look at our video on our Motorhome History -

How far do you have to go after leaving the train before you can find a place to pull over and turn on the LP gas? (I assume your refrigerator needs it.)
The fridge runs off the 12v when the ignition is on, so there's no panic to turn the gas on. We turned the gas on when we stopped for a break at the first aire.
What is the town you mentioned at the beginning? If it's Ypres it's pronounced 'eepruh'
Not if you're talking Dutch... It's Ieper then.
Bob, I think your sat nav is exhausted, possibly time to invest in a bargain Motorhome show bargain ?, unless you are going all the way and going to invest in a new Motorhome at the show ? Today, Tuesday, in the Peak District very windy all day, not worth risking putting up an awning, but staying dry and warm ! Looking forward to going to Buxton and then Caslteton, time for you, Jenny and the dogs to have a well earned rest, unless we see you in the Peak District ! That would be a miracle ?
Think my spending plans may be on hold for a while, considering what the Motorhome repairs may cost! Yes the Peak District sounds tempting.
I don’t see paspoort controlle your don’t have to go to checks is it ?
This video was from 5 years ago. An awful lot has changed since then, not least Brexit. If you subscribe you will see a video we will make in a couple of weeks about going through the tunnel in September 2023.
I know the announcement says no walking between the cars ,but can you get out of the car and stretch your legs by walking the length of the carriage?
Yes, but I never felt the need to, some car drivers walk to the toilet at the front.
Bob Earnshaw thanks 👍🏻
Hello, what kind of dog documents you need to enter UK, coming from France? Need for quarantine? I do travel with my bulldog, therefore I am asking :). From our home (Bucharest) to the Atlantic coast of France, we do not need any kind of documents for Max (nobody has asked for, even if we do have the his dog passport and medical file, ready for being checked).
You may want to look at this www.gov.uk/bring-pet-to-great-britain
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thank you....it looks pretty complicated. To make everything easier: if the pet originates from an EU country, it is microchipped, passport available and we do have the rabbis repeated vaccination document, there is no other legal request :)
What a great informative video, i heard that you have to your pet vaccinated before coming back into the uk, is that correct ?
Thanks a lot. No, you have to have your pet vaccinated BEFORE leaving the UK, that's a requirement of the pet passport scheme. You have to see a vet before coming BACK into the UK to have a check and a worming tablet. You really need to watch my Pet Passport video, but do speak to your vet, because there may be additional complications with blood tests depending when, and if ever Brexit happens. Anyway, here's the video that I did a couple of years ago: czcams.com/video/vdMr4MeUWsY/video.html
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thanks for getting back to me Bob, i'll check that video out
HAHA and by the way, i lost count the times i got out the car for tickets in europe, most machines were on the left.
I can understand them being on the other side, but in a Motorhome, they were either too high or too low.....
