Second story is easy to deal with if youre in the states. Most states have to take a person in for medical eval if they threatened their life, even as a joke. When the partner threatens, report it. They will try to get her the help or likewise they will help you and solve the problem for you.
The welfare check should have ended after the police found no abuse occured with mom and dad being arrested or fined for falsely accusing their daughter's boyfriend of beating her.
BIL should go after op's bro for false accusations on social media.

Story number 2, get out now I was married to my ex-wife for 16 years the first 6 years were okay but after that she started doing the same thing threatening to kill herself every time I wanted to leave her she was very toxic she used to hit me call me p**** and all kinds of names I mean this woman was evil turned out she was having affair with one of my friends and he attacked me in my own house so I moved out I paid 3 months of the rent to the landlord so he would take me off the lease and then I divorced her 1 year later I was free but you know what that woman ruined 10 years of my life so get out now while you can, don't worry about her she won't kill herself and if she does that's her fault, my wife said she'd kill herself and one year after I left her she called me up and I said what's up you didn't kill yourself and she said did you expect me to and I said well you said you were going to I said you're a liar so she hung up on me and I have never spoke to her since maybe she did kill herself by now but I doubt it😮

That last story may or may not be true, but that’s how you professionally ruin someone’s life lol I am not an attorney, but I do send a lot of emails and it is amazing the power a strongly, but eloquently worded email has when sent with evidence to back whatever you’re saying.

Both sides will always have extreme, toxic scum that wants to control the other. Politics will always attract narcissistic scum that wants to control the narrative. Both sides need a good old-fashioned investigation into all of them. But corruption on both sides will prevent that.
