FynRundt? [longplay] Trying to go around Fyn in a week by sailing canoe.

After posting weekly updates, this is the 5 days stitched together, hope you enjoy ;)
In the early summer of 2022 I tried to go around Fyn in a week. My sailing canoe is fast downwind, and the forecast gave South West, South, then West winds. It looked perfect!
This was my third time in the islands of the Danish South sea, and the area keeps pulling me back!
With the West and South West winds, most of Fyn was on the high shore, and my canoe planes downwind, so I remember long stretches of easy planing on flat water. Special parts were the walking of my canoe in very shallow water under the island of Aebelo. Fyn's hovet was scary. although the weather was perfect, you could see that, with more wind, this is not a place where you want to be! The Stoere Belt was easy, going under the huge bridge another special experience. I remember seeing this bridge some years back, from a distance, thinking how it would be to go this way. The weather is so deciding on what you can do. On this earlier trip, cold, with winds over 25 knots, at times all I dared to do was walk my canoe along the beach, afraid to be blown onto the big waters of the Stoere Belt. Now all was easy and fast.
The trip ended at Svenborg, another 2-3 days off a rounding, that will have to wait till another time. It's not a competition, but just about having fun. The weather would turn sour, with North West winds of 20 knots expected, that gives a long reach for waves to build when I would be crossing the Lille Belt. That is not a place to be in for me with that wind. So I took it easy, got the car back by public transport, and went back home. Maybe this was the most fun trip of the 2022 season.

Great trip! How do you store the outriggers when they are not in use? It seems like you don't use them all the time...

Thanks, I fold them up and store them under the foredeck, great to have them out of the way in light weather
