- Video 2/3! This time with the movie Bolt. Here's the story in case you don't understand something:
Penny's father is a government scientist that can't spend much time with his daughter due to his job, so she grew close to their pets Mittens and Rhino, but specially to their dog, Bolt. Every time Penny tried to talk to her dad he became even more distant, but one day he called her and her mom to meet him in his lab. He told them than a criminal was after him to make him build weapons, and that was why he avoided them, because he feared endangering them. He tells them he has to go away and they must hide too, but the criminal, Calico, shows up and captures him.
Seeing how sad Penny was because of what happened to his father, even though they didn't see each other too often, Bolt decides to help her and goes into his lab. The police try to assure Penny and her mom that they'll find him but they doesn't seem to do much about it, so Penny decides to go find him herself with her dad's gadgets and with Bolt, who she discovers has gained powers from her dad's experiments. The two of them find Calico's hideout, but Penny gets kidnapped. Bolt's powers wear out, but either way he goes to rescue Penny and her dad along with Mittens and Rhino. The building where they were being held starts burning and Penny's dad manages to escape, but Bolt and Penny get trapped inside. Now he'll have to save Penny being an ordinary dog.

El padre de Penny es un científico del gobierno que no puede pasar mucho tiempo con su hija debido a su trabajo, así que ella se encariña más con sus mascotas Mittens y Rhino, pero sobre todo con su perro Bolt. Cada vez que Penny trataba de hablar con su padre él se volvía más distante, pero un día él las llamó a ella y a su madre para que se reunieran con él en su laboratorio. Les dijo que un criminal le estaba buscando para obligarle a construir armas, y por eso se alejaba de ellas, porque temía ponerlas en peligro. Les dice que debe marcharse y que ellas tienen que esconderse también, pero el criminal, Calico, aparece y le captura. Viendo lo triste que Penny estaba por lo sucedido con su padre, a pesar de que no se vieran mucho, Bolt decide ayudarla y entra en su laboratorio. La policía asegura a Penny y a su madre que le encontrarán, pero no parecen avanzar mucho, así que Penny decide buscarle ella misma con los inventos de su padre y con Bolt, descubriendo que tiene poderes por usar los experimentos de su padre. Los dos encuentran el escondite de Calico, pero este secuestra a Penny. Los poderes de Bolt se agotan, pero de todas formas va a rescatar a Penny y a su padre con Mittens y Rhino. El edificio donde estaban encerrados empieza a arder y el padre de Penny consigue escapar, pero ella y Bolt se quedan atrapados dentro. Ahora Bolt tendrá que salvar a Penny siendo un perro normal.

This is a nice video. This song also fits well with Bolt. He enjoyed being an ordinary dog after being in isolation at a movie studio for 5 yrs. We still love you Bolt, no matter how old we get.

i had only watched bolt one and a half times because it was never on netflix.. thats the only thing we had so the first time i watched the full movie is when i was 13 or 14. this explains so much more then the original story loyalty, bravery, love, and sacrifice

When i was younger, i didn't understand the whole acting thing, i thought they were actually being attacked by Dr Calico, but watching this as i am older, i understand the plot, and it is such a great film.

I've made an au of this movie. Here's how it goes.
So this story takes place across two dimensions, one where Bolt's powers work and one where they don't. The dimension Bolt's powers work is the one the show is filmed in. The dimension Bolt's powers don't work is the one he finds Mittens in. In that dimension, Bolt doesn't exist and Dr Calico is the president. Also in this version, Mittens still has claws. While they're making their way back to Bolt's home dimension until he's convinced his powers aren't real, Mittens has Bolt under the impression that she killed her dimension's version of him. Near the climax of the movie after Bolt is convinced his powers aren't real and he goes back to his dimension, it's revealed that Dr Calico is actually real and that he's been planning something called Operation: Divide and conquer. In which Dr Calico would send Bolt to the second dimension and convince him his powers weren't real, making there be nothing between him and taking over both dimensions. He also tells Bolt that Mittens was a spy. The studio is set on fire on purpose this time with Penny inside and a large machine rises from the ground that launches rays of energy to destroy the seven wonders of the world. Bolt saves Penny and tries to destroy the machine, only to be stopped by Dr Calico. He and Bolt fight, and as Bolt gains the upper hand, Dr Calico calls Mittens to fight Bolt. Instead however, Mittens attacks Calico. Bolt destroys the machine, Calico and Mindy from the network who was also a spy for Calico are arrested, and everything else plays out the same. What do you think?
