I listened today at work and iv got to say she’s got a brilliant voice for telling stories.
I went into this episode not being sure what to expect. I’m a non believer in all things ghost, ghouls and the paranormal and I know the boys are as well so I was a little worried what if this episode is just a woman awkwardly claiming all this rubbish and saying crazy shit and the boys just rolling their eyes and saying yeah what ever. However she and the lads clicked straight away and I really enjoyed the episode. I loved that she called bull shit on a lot of things paranormal and seemed a lot more level headed and skeptical than a lot to of paranormal investigators. She seemed a really funny and charming woman and made for a brilliant guest, I don’t believe in ghosts anymore than before I listened to the episode but I have more respect for people like her within that field of work who may believe

I and my nephew for three nights experienced poltergeist activity that scared the crap out of us in 2019 at his townhouse. The address started 6166 which I had never liked the number?! As soon as I left we never experienced it again.
Objects flew around the room. A pillar was thrown down the hallway where we were sleeping. I locked my door and the entity unlocked it and I saw a outline of a figure in black that disappeared as soon as I saw it?!! Freaky time!!!

Everything has a far more plausible explanation that’s actually possible, unlike ghosts. Same goes for the God debate.

@@3man3 Didn't say anything about possible, of course it's possible but all evidence points elsewhere so at present I believe it to not be true. Jesus I do not doubt was a real person, just not the son of God nor able to perform miracles.

Why can't poltergeists ever do something useful? You never hear of one cooking a decent casserole, tidying the house or re-grouting the bathroom.
I don't fully believe in God or religion but ghosts in my mind are a possible factor on which I think could be real

If they are real in the first place, from what people have defined a Poltergeist as, it is just an entity that can move objects, so based on this, logically there is a difference between violent poltergeists and just spirits trying to contact you or even trying to just let you know you are not alone, however, everything is based on perception and beliefs, due to the fact if you truly believe something it can make it real.
The story on the rugby player being possessed is just bull, he was abusing substance, that’s been proven multiple times how certain hallucinogenic substances, as well as other drugs can put you in a possessed like state.

It's a cool story, don't get me wrong - but isn't it most likely that the guy just became overcome in the situation he was in and went a bit crazy, rather than being possessed by an entity? You don't need to be diagnosed with a mental illness to have some sort of mental break, so just saying he wasn't diagnosed with any mental illness doesn't discard that possibility. Also worth pointing out that people can remain undiagnosed their whole lives.
Also, I don't understand why hypnosis is thrown in with the paranormal. It's not paranormal at all.
