The Amish are living a very homesteady life living close to the land. But they are VERY strict in their religious beliefs.

Hello Everyone! I'm so undecided on this topic and I'm seeking the Lord's discernment for me. If you buy the land (so expensive right now), you have to pay taxes on it and maintain it. Then you need more $$$ to start building. In my area Western NJ, it is not affordable ($100K+). Even a tiny house plus the service utilities and water is going to cost in excess of $50K+ plus the cost of the land factored in. So very sad. A 2BD 936SqFt condo just sold in my complex for $230,000 and a young unmarried couple bought it. When it was listed originally it was $215K and then within a few days, it sold for the $230K relisted price?
I'm farming indoors using a grow water gardening system. I have lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos and microgreens year round. I dehydrate and can often to restock. YHWH-God's storehouse is NEVER empty for those who obey and keep His commandments. Prayers always for everyone's safety and blessings! 🙏

The thing about control is historically it always backfires. But it is intresting under modern technology how much more, and how longer they can keep an unstable system from backfiring on them.

But once you get land, you have to pay taxes, it costs money to own land.

Learn how to fight reassessment of property tax.
In Michigan we have the right to fight exorbitant property tax.
We also cap the amount property tax can be raised from year to year.

I've considered living out of canvass tent before, with a wood stove for cooking and heat. I figure if it was normal for people in the days of Abraham to live out of tents, we can do the same today. Go off grid and rely on yourself to supply your own utilities, just like people did for thousands of years prior to the modern era. People these days, even our fellow bothers and sisters in christ, dont realise how spoiled we really are, and how much knowledge we've lost by chasing convenience.

Glad you mentioned what the constitution says about our money. It seems obvious that paper money violates the constitution. I keep asking how this didn’t get struck down in the courts. Was it never challenged in the courts? Could it be challenged NOW? No-one seems to know the answers.
Think about it, if you're able to control the money supply, everything else is pretty easy to control as well.
You are spot on. Real Estate/Land is "yours" as long ass you can pay the PTax. And the PTax is based on the price of a home or Land. Which is inflating due to fiat money printing. At some point the PTax will always outpace your income. Unless your land is producing income. Like farmland or rental property. I do not think RE will "crash" like 08. The Feds rate hikes have created stagflation. Which means the kids under 30 may never own a home.

Oh. It's always been about taking the land. I was talking to someone yesterday, and the term public land came up. I made a comment that "you mean government land" the whole conversation went off the deep end. People do not want to understand that the government has been taking land and allowed land to be taken for decades.

People don't want to own land. It's hard work having a farm and you're at the mercy of the weather and nature. Farmers worry a lot since they're not in control. Their kids wind up moving to the city to have an easier life.
It's become unreasonably expensive to farm. Have you ever looked up how much a tractor costs these days? I suppose everything could be done by hand but most are trying to do this with a full time job already. I don't know anyone (individual) who is profitable by farming exclusively. It needs to be supplemented now with other income because of the inflation caused by the over printing of the all mighty dollar.
@@SilverStarEagles Farming is very labor intensive, always has been and there's no guarantee your crops will be successful, that's why there aren't too many farmers anymore. I thought about getting some land and getting into farming, but it takes time, money and energy.
