My Immersive VR 360 Nature Vacation Getaways are a good option for seniors for I have a goal of no motion. Makes it easier to not stress about motion sickness. Plus nature therapy is a great way to get a positive boost.

Hopefully at the low cost of a quest 2 now, you could take it around some care homes and demo it to them

@@jeannielynna Everyone thought it was a great idea but none of the bosses wanted to follow up on the idea. I even had my own Q2 to demo with, as someone suggested, but I guess they just liked the idea and didn't wanna pursue it. Shame, I'm sure at least some of the residents would've loved the experience.

This is Beautiful, I work with people with neurological challenges. I have tried a very cheap VR headset yok ..lol :( with my Galaxy phone in it and a double screen virtual youtube video, I am so bad with technology but omg even with this basic headset I have had incredible reactions. Is there any advice on a simple app or equipment that possibly I could get a client that is paralyzed from the neck down to experience walking or running virtually etc? I've looked at the new ones Oculus Quest 2 but just by looking at the youtube clips, it needs your arms or legs to move virtually. I would appreciate some advice Thanking you in advance

it doesnt need your arms or legs to move virtually actually, u can use the thumbsticks and things like teleporting

My VR Nature Vacation Getaways are a great option for Senior citizens for the combo of low motion, and the positive boost from Nature Therapy. Just open a bottle of cypress oil for an even better boost.

@@jeannielynna I would read the Nature Fix Book. It has info on the studies and then there are medical studies talking about how your brain believes it is in nature in VR nature scenes. I don't have a program, just what studies are saying.

They already have this...its called safety glasses.....its quite easy: you go to the dollar store and buy a pair of those plastic safety glasses...then you put on a movie from the era you are from, and watch it thru the dollar store safety goggles....what do i know, I'm only 61?

@@butterflymoon6368 Why are you asking me such a easy question? The Oculus quest is a fully standalone headset that does not require a PC. Many people get this headset because you do not need a PC to use it. The HTC Vive is a headset that requires a decent PC to use it. Many great titles from Steam and Oculus are available for this headset such as Bone works and Beatsaber. Do you think that I do not know???

I believe it's because this project is from 2017 where the quest did not exsist and the Rift and HTC was extemelly expensive and advanced to use. From what I can see in the video they needed headsets for at least 8 people. Imagine buying 8 HTC vive + 8 computers :-O

I remember being impressed by phone headsets like that 5 years ago, but when I used a PCVR headset for the first time, it was a big step up.
Hopefully one day, we can see full 6dof headsets being used more in places like these. Maybe it’s possible now with the Oculus Quest 1 and 2!
