Lingering echoes is available to play in arknight side story menu the rerun was last january and permanently stay in side story section, and oh boy, by far arknight saddest event, will make you sobs and bawl you eye out both story and gameplay
Somehow, I look forward to sobbing and bawling my eyes out when I play that side story. I love when stories are just that good at making people cry! haha Plus, I'm going to be recording more side stories than the main story for now (for the Let's Play videos), so maybe, I'll end up playing this one soon.
The Rhine Lab: Access trailer is basically to give overall lore on Rhine Labs in general. showing they're a huge company, that covers basically every aspect of the world, somehow.
And the little bit of confidential information at the end is basically giving lore on Ifrit's backstory (She's a caster operator you can get)
tl;dr: She was being experimented on, being artificially implanted with originium, which eventually caused her to go berserk, burning down the lab and killing the head researcher.
Also yes, Saria (the 6-star healing defender operator) was the co-founder of Rhine Labs alongside Kristen, and is the one who "took over" Ifrit after the incident, as was mentioned in the last 5-ish seconds of that trailer. What happened afterwards though, who knows :)
O_O SHE WAS WHAT?!? That's absolutely insane of them... Poor Ifrit... Is her background (and what happened afterwards) covered in the main story or is it in the side stories? :O
Some of it is covered/eluded to by side stories and operator files, though the best coverage to my knowledge actually comes from a 3 part manga that they put out that is all about the rhine lab girls.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna As Drizzt said, it's not directly addressed in the game's story (main or side), but it is hinted at in tidbits here and there, and then there's the manga.
Silence was also a doctor at Rhine Lab, and she holds a grudge against Saria for being complicit in the unethical experiments that the Rhine Lab researchers performed on Ifrit during her detainment.

7:05 - At max i can say without spoilers is Rhodes Island is going to Victoria to prevent a political disaster to occur while being on the same sidewith local rebels.

16:06 - Also fun Fact: due of the scheduling of last 3 events including this one - Community proclaimed this period of Arknights history as "The Seaborn season" 'cause all 3 of these events were directly connected with the Seaborn story line. Quite a bunch of people actually disliked that period due of how annoying Seaborn mechanics are.
24:00 - Earlier its been said about the terror he caused and how disastrous he was. Ofc he was a bad person, only fanatics actually follows him
26:04 - With this event we got unlocked the possibility to upgrade Modules up to Lv3. Before that you could only just unlock it and thats it. Upgrade materials can be grinded mostly here but its very recommended to prepare a lot of strong units.
32:20 - The bigger company is - the easier it is to hide some very nasty things so its not really surprising. Especially for some private scientific organisation.
Now that many people have mentioned that it's Latin, I suppose it's for certain for sure~ hehe

Oh no, the Seaborn mechanics are annoying?!? But the events (for the Seaborn story line) were still pretty interesting though, right? Or was it just okay to the point that the gameplay overpowered the story itself?
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Many people found it very annoying during Under Tides and Stultifera Navis events. For the 1st one 'cause of Nervous Impairment (damage type which if accumulates too high - your units will get stunned for quite a while, also almost all of enemies in this event can deal it) mechanic and one of enemies that deals damage to everyone nearby each time it loses certain amount of HP. For 2nd event there was also Nervous Impairment on top of Seabrand (Local mechanic where tiles slowly gets corrupted and its spreads overtime, giving enemies extra abilities, amplifies their Nervous Impairment damage and also damages your units so you had to keep it under control) and also another infamous enemy which have 80-90% dodge chance and also ability to pass through operators if he walks on top of The Seabrand.
Its very complicated for most of people to deal with shortly. Thats why people find Seaborn events quite annoying to deal with. At least its very unique and the story goes hard.

Elemental debuff which gives pretty big damage and stun
Land poisoning which applies elemental damage and couple of certain enemies: one which can attack multiple ops on this ground and another one if standing on this ground can dodge any attacks
And boss which revives 3 times and certain enemies appear between his revives and boss will consume 2 closest to him totems which will fall from said enemies

Tuning system is basically a way to choose 'easy mode' for arc 2 of the story but get less rewards or more on hard mode. Then you can go back and get those rewards whenever if you want to do harder difficulties.

And yes if you change your main screens background you can change the music that plays.
Phantom Rogue-like chapter 2 pv is basically just an update to IS2. And at the end Mizuki's umbrella as a teaser to is3.

The Under Tides, Stultifera Navis, and essentially everything to do with the Abyssal Hunters, is basically themed around Lovecraftian Horrors (think Cthulhu and the like)
Oooo, you know, even though I haven't consumed much of Lovecraftian Horror, I feel like I find it pretty fascinating when I do encounter them in entertainment, such as games. There's something addicting about them that I can't look away! Gosh, I want to learn more about the Abyssal Hunters!
Operator lumen is a free 6 star therapist medic (and a really good one at that) stultivera navis is available in the intermezzi to play, and in future update will have record restoration which mean you can get lumen for free in the future with full pot 6
Oooo, a free 6 star medic! There seems to be a lot of good medic operators out there. Is there something super special about Lumen that makes him stand out as a medic? I do hope we'll get the record restoration though since I really like Lumen's design~ hehe
@@Trailblazer_Ririna 3rd or 4th best HP/s in game iirc with his S3, and his kit is all about countering cc effects like stuns and freezes.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna he is the only operator who remove crowd control status debuffs from enemy (stun, freeze, burn, etc). Other theraphist medic only shorten the debuff duration but no cleanse it
@@Trailblazer_Ririna lumen is a therapist medic which mean he remove debuff (such as stun and freeze and give status resistance to allied operator)

Long story short without much spoiler, she's investigating some human experimental project in Rhine Labs (She's a rhine labs researcher as well, but due to some stuff, she started doubting the company, and doubting Saria too).
Dang, there seems to be so much about Silence that I didn't know about before! Even though I have her and used her before, she never stood out to me for a while before. NOW, I'm super curious to learn more about her.

Not sure if you already have all of the stuff recorded, but something I suggest is to pause the video when you want/need to read something that catches your eye and rewind a bit after doing so. It could possibly give you more context, questions, etc while having you perhaps give your own theories/thoughts
Ahh, I actually have all of this recorded way in advance. So this video was recorded and released to my paid members as early access around 3+ weeks ago.
I tend to avoid rereading things (aka pausing/rewinding the videos) because I want to feel the element of surprise when I do play the game. I find that trailers and PVs are very fun to watch, but sometimes, if I look too deep into them, they give me too much bias about something or I end up remembering a bit too much. So when I do come across it or play it in the game, it ends up feeling a bit jarring or underwhelming, which I do not want to experience with Arknights.

Yeah uh, Rhine Lab may be the leading science company in all of Terra, but they have PLENTY of skeletons in their closet, especially about the Diabolic Crisis..... thankfully Ifrit is okay today and she's being taught by Silence and Muelsyse and protected by Saria! By the time Lone Trail hits she's grown quite a bit, but yeah, won't spoil if you're gonna play it, but yup. She went from being experimented on to being a great Rhodes Island operator!
Aww, that makes me happy to hear. I was a bit worried about Ifrit, but I'm super glad that she becomes a great Rhodes Island operator! Can't wait to find out more about what happens between the "being experimented on" to "become a Rhodes Island operator"~ :3
I'm sure you'll love it, Rina! Rhine Lab has some AMAZING lore, 1 of my favourites in the entire game, so I can only recommend you dig into it, haha.
But 1 thing, as with everything else in Arknights, you can't really call Rhine Lab the "villains" or the "good guys" cause there are both in that company, and some DO make decisions that could destroy the world or take some amazing steps forward to solve conflicts and whatnot. Anyway, great video, hope you grab the Rhine Lab lore soon, it's awesome!
Rhine lab is classic hollywood sci-fi movie style scientfic organization. Well, from what we seen Columbia is basically US of AK world, so it makes sense.
Ohh, that actually does make a lot of sense. No wonder they have a lot of skeletons in their closet. haha

XD So good timing on your part! haha I'm actually going to start reacting to Arknights a bit more after I finish reacting to Blue Archive~ So you'll start seeing more Arknights content from me more consistently! Had to figure some things out, hence this delay for the next one.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Once you're done reacting to the trailers and PVs, I strongly recommend also checking out the various Operator EPs. The spectrum of musical genres is a mile long, and so many of them sound fantastic.
@@SigmentKurosai Sounds good! I'll add that to my list. I think I'll be reacting to the OSTs next (the ones with lyrics), so maybe after that, it would be a good time to react to the EPs for Operators (unless it's the same thing?). I was thinking of maybe checking out all of the skins in the games too and then any new videos from the official AK channel.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna The EPs (such as Radiant, All Hail Savior and Speed of Light) are for individual Operators (or small groups, like A Cold Call). There are a handful of themes with lyrics, though, that play during boss battles (like Wlfmstr). Lastly, there's the lobby themes for the Contingency Contracts. You've been hearing shorter versions of them in the CC trailers (yes, those are the lobby themes for their respective CCs).
Yostar has semi-jokingly been called "a music company that made a tower defense game to show off their songs." That said, even the instrumental stuff is fantastic, and definitely worth a listen.

Joyce Moore by the way is the name of 'Rhine Lab Operator Ptilosis'. There's a manga detailing the beginning events of Rhine Lab and why we have operators from the company. It's very short and a great read, especially if you're interested in the Rhine Lab operators.

@@Trailblazer_Ririna As someone who tried that, I don't recommend it. I've spent minimum $500+ on Arknights over the course of 4 years from either the monthly cards or buying skins. And I stopped throwing money at the game purely to buy skins like a year or so in. Currently, just in global, there's about 120 average cost skins (18 Prime) which equates to roughly $2k in USD value. Can definitely try, although limited time ones are difficult to obtain again, just know it's an expensive ordeal. If I still had my old job, I'd probably still be trying lol.
There's a pair of skins that can only be obtained with limited time package purchases as well at the moment that cost roughly $25~$30 each, for 2 characters I barely ever use. But they're both really nice skins and I still really want them lol...
