The game has four big events every year, once every three months. You can basically imagine them as seasonal celebrations. I would say the core difference of these events is that they come with limited banners, and the limited operators in these banners are harder to obtain than normal operators. Accordingly, these events come with greater budgets in many ways, for example, they all come with full-length animated teaser trailers and sometimes special minigames outside the battle stages (e.g. the snowsant's shop in this anniversary event). And to directly answer your question regarding the themes of anniversaries, due to differences in arrangement of event schedules between Global and Chinese servers, the anniversary events are always summer-themed events, but are released in winters, and the half-anniversary events are always lunar-new-year-themed, but are released in summers. Similarly, you can expect Halloween-themed character skins around May, and Christmas-themed character skins around July. So far, I am pretty happy with what the dev team has pulled off for making each anniversary themes feel fresh and slightly different from the previous years. I am looking forward to your reaction to the next anniversary trailers (that is, next anniversary on your playlist, aka the last anniversary in-game)!

I think swim suits are sort of overdone in gatcha games, but they definitely do sell well ;) To be fare, Arknights also have a lot of summer skins that aren't swim suits, e.g. SilverAsh's or Ceobe's, and I adore those.

The interlocking competition was unique cause if you brought operators to a stage you couldnt use them in another stage (of 5) Viglio was a mini event that has backstory for the doctor and some other main characters. Dossoles Holiday time! Eyja yes your right she is the current limited. The mask character is D.D.D shes a DJ. Sideroca was the cow girl in the swimsuit. Dossoles Holiday was our 2nd year anniversary. I personally like Chen alters non e2 art. Yea the ticket thing has been around for awhile. There is 12 cc trailers (plus 1 beta and another for the start of season 2) Stormwatch is part of arc 2 of the main story. Fun thing about the first trailer: IIRC the narration is word for word a letter that the narrator wrote for Kal'tsit (better known as Ex-Wife/Old Well by the playerbase) and it appears in-game in her character bio as the last unlockable, the trailer coming arround the time she became playable.
Though it itches me that I can't give you suggestions-on-time while you stream the game, I greatly appreciate those reaction videos. Really helps to get back in time and see that yes, those various trailers was indeed as cool as I remember them. And as you pointed out, they really do grow in quality, which is also great. That 3rd Concept Trailer (the one with Starset) also bring memories. It was originally released a some time *before* the actual "Infected" song for it was offcially released on CZcams. The official video on Starset channel also has #Arknights tag to it, so, yey! xD As for person speaking in that trailer - Theresa, well... She had a great impact on the main cast of characters in the Main Story, like Amiya, Doctor or Kal'tsit. Later is also has way more to her than it seems from the first glance, and I anticipating the time when you learn about them more, but the road is still rather long... For other things, one of the trailers (Interlocking Competition) showed an experimental game-mode. The gimmick of it was - you had to clear 5 different maps of the event *but* operators you used on the first four levels has to *stay there* and you can't bring them to fight in the main battle. So you had to choose wisely and optimize your play to make the final battle easier. You can see what goes from there, xD So, something like that Have a nice day and cheers

Lots of stuff from Docs past and present times was learnt here as well as others important past characters. 11:00 - The one with the mask is DDD (Destructive Dragon Demon), basically Arknights version of IRL Marshmallow, worldwide popular EDM composer and DJ. 11:30 - Sideroca, 5* Arts Guard, Welfare unit from Darknights Memoir event, currently available to unlock in Side Story tab. 11:58 - Yeah, another summer event 13:26 - That wasn't a skin but an alter of Ch'en. Any operator titled the
15:00 Arknights JP and Global are 6-8 months behind from Arknights CN. Thats why Summer event that in CN supposeedly for July-August, we got them as our (global) Anniversary event in January.
The long name you recognized from Dossoles Holiday is Eyjafjalla (who has an alt named Hvit Aska, or White Ash). She's named after a real life volcano, which means its actually pronounced "Eye-ya-fee-yot-ya", roughly.
The OST is indeed amazing, as are the character themes. Saileach, the dragon girl with a banner flag, has an absolutely amazing one. As for gameplay, best advice given is prioritize your 3* operators. Even years down the line, they are still very viable due to how the game balances rarity and such with cost and niches. Especially early since they don't require chips to promote, which require having specific ones open when you need them and the stages themselves can be challenging for newer accounts.
The Alter Ch'en anniversary takes place in Dossoles, the 4th year anniversary takes place in Siesta, AKA Hawaii! 2 different countries, but yeah, I can see why they look very similar, both very lovely holiday resorts! And yeah, I like the Halloween skins a lot too, my fav is Marias. Oh and speaking of skins, the Ch'en from the anniversary is not a skin, but yeah, new version, a ranged Ch'en, haha. She picks up some water shotguns in Dossoles.,.. NEW OPERATOR xD pretty funny. Oh yeah, the name you were looking for is Eyja, the goat girl this year anniversary was about! Must protecc adorable goat daughter... also including Swire, ofc. I really enjoyed her part of the story too, I really like Swire =D Not too much else to comment on, very smooth video, Rina! Next trailer is still about Near Light, they did..... SO MUCH promotion for this event, it was insane, lol. Can't hate, some of the best OST so far, some of the coolest characters included AND also 1 of the sidestories with the most words, so yeah, huge event, super awesome!
