Thank you! I just came to this video from another that was saying some nonsense about celebrating your Birthday is for the moon God or some ridiculousness. People really need to start paying attention. The word says NOT TO ADD to it. These people don't understand that they themselves will be cursed for adding to the word.

Third, even though they say something doesn't mean birthdays themselves are bad. The conclusion you did on Pharaoh and Herod, just because they did bad things on their birthday doesn't mean the birthday was bad itself. Remember, the devil is a liar. And if you're gonna spam caps and emojis at me like that, that just tells me you PROBABLY have bad fruit for a Christian. I'm saying this as a Christian.

Instead of receiving giffs for yourself, give to the poor and the needy.
Instead of a wild drunken party, have a feast and invite your neigbors.
Instead making a wish, make a prayer

So all my bdays were kinda depressing to the fact I started to humble myself and when people would ask what I'm doing for my bday I would say pray and thank God I'm still alive 🤔🤔🤔 I'm feeling so at peace right now my bday is in Oct. It's almost like I was suppose to have sad bdays because everyone would disappear on my bdays but make sure I'm there for there's. And now all I do is thank him I'm alive to live another age is the biggest gift ever, funny God will show me good things all year around until my bday hits then it's like I'm suppose to sit still and give praise because whenever I planned something it always went south. Thanks for the message man I needed to hear that I'm tired if crying each time it gets close to my bday because I can't remember me ever having a good one to remember. Man I swear being humble before God can be hard in times you expect people to show you love.

We should ask ourselves, is the Scripture our God given standard for living to Christians? I believe it is. Since it is, how many of God servants do we find that have celebrated their birthday? The only answer is, none.
Other questions we should ask ourselves. Is God glorified in birthday celebrations? No! Or, is it about ourselves; that is, self gratifying by receiving gifts and even praises? The answer is, yes! Is it of pagan origin? Yes! So, what do Bible believers have to do with pagan customs and traditions? Nothing!
Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

Both Pharaoh and Harod were wicked men and did not love Elohim nor His people. There is no place in the bible that tells us to celebrate our birth, or the birth of another, but it does tell us to cry at a birth and celebrate death. Yahshua Never requested that a party be planned for him, or that gifts should be given to him or others on a certain day on his behalf, ie birthday, Christmas etc. Furthermore, there's no proof of the exact date that he was born, so who are we really pleasing if Elohim didn't tell us to do it. The word of Elohim is Very Clear about what festivals and Holy Days were to be kept, and do we think He forgot to mention Birthdays, Christmas, etc. What we do know is the bible tells us not to follow the customs and traditions of the heathens, or to follow after their practices. ALL of their created holidays are pagan. Do your own research of their origins. If we really want to do Elohim's will and be pleasing to Him, We must first die to self, and come away from All the pagan holidays. It's not about our opinions, but what the word of Elohim says.....We should give thanks everday for Him allowing us to wake up. Shalom.

Job 1:4-5...His sons used to hold feasts in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5. When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
It's ok to celebrate your birthday, as long as its done in the manner that's pleasing to the Lord and you glory His Holy name throughout the entire celebration and after.

I kind of thought about something, birthdays could be looked upon as a celebration of the day God brought someone into existence, afterall The Lord has not forgot the day He made you to be a blessing upon the earth. Isnt it funny how people think nothing of remembering the day someone dies.. but your not supposed to remember or be happy that you were created and birthed by God on a certain day? God never said we had to pay attention to our ages either..but we do. I somehow think celebrating the day God created us is as important in remembering and honoring the day when we have died and He has called us home.

@@InThyWord hello in Job it is taking about a feast being held for every son "on his day" and later Job went and made a sacrifice to God saying he was sure his sons had sinned and cursed God.
So now you need to look at what " his day means". In Hebrew it means "yom" meaning a day, a time and year. Ok so where else do we see this being said? Look at Job 3:1 -3
      1. After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
      2And Job spake, and said,
3Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
"His day" meaning the day he was born, his birth day.
Even Job believed his sons has sinned and cursed God during the feast on his day and again you see Job cursing his day.
Im not saying we cannot bless God for allowing us to see a new year but beyond that I do believe it is self worship. And honestly we should thank God everyday he allows us to open our eyes because it is another day we live. Think about it
Even though we see Herod celebrating his bday in the bible we really have to look at the evil that happened that day and God has told us to worship him only everyday. We should not pick up traditions as the world.
Ask God about it and he will lead you not believing what I'm saying but what the word says as the holy spirit reveals. Be blessed

In Job 1 5 doesn’t it say “maybe/perhaps my children have sinned” not my children have sinned? If celebrating a birthday was sinful would he not have said they sinned?
Also, in verse 5 is not the emphasis on his children potentially cursing God?
Secondly, Job cursing HIS DAY he was born because he is suffering doesn’t mean you should curse your day does it? And doesn’t that actually imply normally your day is blessed and not cursed?
Are you not reading your doctrine into the text?

I never knew, I have a vague knowledge of the time period but it was a process. The exact date isn’t important, as long as we can remember who we were, who Jesus is, and who we are now because of Him. I’m pretty sure throughout history all people didnt have calendars to mark down the specific dates

It would seem nice to celebrate your ‘re-birth’ day on each anniversary of being baptized & being reborn in Christ! Having the mentality of ‘me, me, me’ on your birth date as if it’s all about you seems wicked. And those providing gifts - like the wisemen did Jesus seems like a mockery.
King Herod killed John on his birthday, after being taken by lust & a lap dance - like the devil was mocking Jesus’ birth by killed His most beloved disciple.

The Bible never refers to a worshipper of God celebrating their birthdays, only those individuals that didn’t and the deaths that followed. (Genesis 40:20-22; Matthew 14:6-10)
God wants us to enjoy ourselves but we can’t do things that displease him. The only event Jesus commanded us to observe is the Memorial of his death!

Birth is the begining of dead, birth is separation from God, this world is not of God, bith is actually the first dead, the second dead is when you die without Jesus , the second dead is whenbyou come back to this world ,,,so this world is hell, and the question is this,,,,,why on earth you would be happy about your bithday if you are dead without Jesus? If you live this world you will miss the glory of God that is the new Jerusalem the city of gold ,,,,why should you celebrate your birthday if you were sent to this world as a punishment? Why should you celebrate that you got ceparated from God? Why should you celebrate you dead? You are dead in this world that is what the bible tell us ,,,if not then why do you ne a savior?

There are two birthdays mentioned in the Bible and both ended in murder. God disapproves of many things even if it’s not in the 10 Commandments. We must do what He requires to worship him properly.
The Law Covenant required that a woman, after giving birth present a sin offering to God. (Leviticus 12:1-8) This is a poignant reminder that humans pass sin on to their children, and this legal requirement helped the Israelites to have a balanced view of the birth of a child and discouraged them from adopting pagan birthday customs. (Psalm 51:5)
