- Today is our first day in the Sacred Valley of Peru. We decided just to take it easy and hang around our beautiful airbnb in Urubamba but while out for a walk we stumbled upon a forgotten Incan palace! How cool is it that you can wander into things like that when you are hanging around in the Andes mountains?!

Eve is talking so clearly lately!!! 👏👏👏 I’m so glad you guys slowed down and are enjoying your time! Thank you for sharing!
I love how you can appreciate other people’s connection to the sacred without feeling that it somehow threatens your own connection to God.
I’ve followed your family since you were first setting out on your RV adventures. I love how you ground your children in the basics of living a good moral life, and also show them the amazing beauty and diversity of the world.
Gotta tell ya, Megan, I'm SO glad you guys regrouped on your travel plans. There's a WORLD of difference between the last video I saw and this one. You guys have caught the wonder of travel and discovery again and that's what you love....and what WE love to experience with you! This place is remarkable!! What a treasure you've found! Keep on keeping on--love ya!
Whilst suffering from cabin fever because of this pandemic your travel videos have been a life saver and makes me feel sane! Thank you so much Knorpps for sharing your lives with us!
Push the fluids on everyone!! I live at 7,300ft and I had to double my H20 intake. That may help everyone, especially since you will be gradually climbing in elevation. Canned 02. Stay well, stay safe! Love the videos!!
Thank you for the little cemetery tour. I remember once talking to my mom and my aunt many years go, and talking about their relatives that passed on. My mom mentioning that once the family has passed on, no one would remember them (meaning generations). That really struck a chord in me, and now when i go through a cemetery, I will go to the old section, look at the grave markers and say.. "you have been thought of and remembered". I know it sounds weird to do that, but I too hope that I will never be forgotten. Okay... back to regular scheduled programming. Ha
If I'm not mistaken that tree with the gorgeous white bell flowers (by the sacred rock) is of the angel trumpet flower family, and best the kids don't touch them. I used to have one till my neighbour warned me about it for the g'kids and our little doggie. According to the web here's what is says. ."Every part of the angel trumpet is highly poisonous, including the leaves, flowers, seeds and roots. All contain the toxic alkaloids scopolamine, atropine and hyoscyamine, which are deadly and poisonous". Best to be admired from a distance.
Such a beautiful place and your AirBNB is the best. LOL@ guard Bull. That brought Mike to a standstill. haha. I don't blame him. The knowledge that the Incas had to engineer waterways, via ducts etc is a real marvel.
Thanks for sharing another great video with us... 💖
That palace had NO graffiti...that was nice to see.
Wow! What a view. And I must say, mad respect to you and Mike for still uploading daily despite so much going on and sketchy internet.
The scenery there is absolutely amazing. It's good that you were able to just have some down time and plant roots, even if only temporary. Thanks for taking all of us on your journey, I'm enjoying myself.
Esther is such a fantastic big sister. she is so good with the little ones.
Your tours are soo relaxing. The history you share, the parenting you give the rainbow that shined and melted into the mountain was/is devine❤🌷
I love these slow days... it’s how I travel!
Seeing your children playing together makes me realize how nice it is to have a big family...u have your own playmates. It’s just wonderful. God bless u Knorpp family🙏🏻🙏🏻!!!
What a gorgeous town you're currently staying in!! Surrounded by all that stunning natural beauty and the Incan historical sites. I'm envious, but very happy for all of you! Also I cannot believe how lucky your entire family has been in terms of altitude sickness. Not sure if you're aware but during your mountain drive in the last video (where at one point you were at almost 15,000ft) you were only a couple thousand feet lower than base camp at Mount Everest(!!) which is just over 17,000ft. That's incredible!! Combine that with the fact that nobody in your family has been severely incapacitated with altitude sickness and it's darn near miraculous. I know there was some vomiting and other minor issues but all in all you've all been extremely lucky on that score. That's the thing with altitude sickness though, you never know when it will strike, who it will affect or how serious it will get. Your trip has been very blessed and you are being lovingly watched over from above no doubt about it.
How magnificent! What a gorgeous rainbow!!
double rainbow day ..... and pizza .... looks like good food ... I am going to need to take a trip there
Amazing rainbow over the mountains & among the clouds. 🌈
Just amazing that these ancient structures are still intact...
Thank you for nothing special, but just for sharing everything and putting a smile on my face as I watch your family adventures! I just love the way your kids interact with each other.
Esther is so good with Eve and Jude!! Hope Daniel is feeling a bit better!!
So pretty and interesting! I feel for poor Daniel I hate altitude sickness. I love the hide and seek.Your kids are so wonderfully unusual playing with each other. I love homeschooling!
Hope you feel better soon Daniel old bean ! So there you are ,and right along the road....an ancient summer residence. Those paths of green and stone and running water and ....ah yes Ferdinand the bull.!!! Brave woman there Megan....obviously an explorer in a previous life !!! The market looked great...as did the dinner. I was here hours ago when the video wouldn't come through....now I am hours late. Those mountains , rainbows and mists....incredible !
I look forward to your videos EVERY DAY!!! thank you for making them and posting them!!!
Glad we had a slow day today I was getting tired doing all that driving around!
Thank you for my 9 year old grandson and 60 something year old woman for sharing with us I don't know how you do it but you send energy now your children are so fortunate again thank you so much for sharing we've followed your trip have a great day
And Remember After a time of Noah and his family along with 2 of each animal they saw a Rainbow as a promise to never flood the earth agian LOVE U KNORPPS
Gorgeous sights !!! In Spanish you can say Good Morning in 2 ways: Buenos Días (plural) like you heard in Mexico or Buen Día (singular) like you heard in Peru 😘 you can use either of them 😉
So when you directly translate "Buenos Dias" are you saying "Good Days?" I fervently wish I could speak Spanish!
@@aksez2u literally yes, that's what you'd be saying 🙂
@@sandypatch930 Interesting - Thanks!
Both ways are used in Peru
Thank you for sharing, lovely to see other parts of the world, you look like you have slowed down and are now enjoying it more.
Wow Peru 🇵🇪
Great video. I really love how you give extra information for each new site or situation. 💙
What a beautiful rain bow.Love where you at.
Such beautiful bright colors in nature. Make you wonder what the garden of Eden looked like. So glad you are taking a break and just enjoying the moments.
Thank you for sharing that awesome sacred valley, clean and naturally beautiful.
It’s super cool that you guys just walked around and found an Incan site like that. It’s amazing that there was no trash around or graffiti on the walls! I feel like if it were in America it wouldn’t be as well preserved. I really like ur Airbnb as well!!! Also I’m glad u guys got to have a relaxing day!
I’m with Mike, I don’t think I would want to test that bull. I think I would’ve gone in the opposite direction. That bull was enormous😱😱
I think that was the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen! Thank you for sharing
Loved the findings of just walking around. Loved the walk down town. Loving coming along.
Wow that place is beautiful! Worth the little struggles along the way!
There are thousands of ruins as that place spreaded across the Country in Peru. Most of them are Pre-incas (before the Incas). Some of them at the top of Mountains as RUPAC or others made of mud as CHAN CHAN
WOW I have so much to say: Thank you for taking me where my feet will never walk and showing me what my eyes will never see and my tongue will never taste. I am so amazed at how your children are willing to eat or try everything. I also observed Esther taking Judes hand most of the time. You are doing a great job with your children showing them so much of the world.
While you are in Cusco, try to eat BOILED CHOCLO - Choclo is Corn with a big white tasty grains . Potato and Corn were domesticated in Peru
There was two rainbows! Usually two. I saw the end of the rainbow in Wyoming when I was truck driving. The pot was roaming Rams and sheep on a bottom of a mountain side.
Sacred Valley is a perfect name for that place! I love your Air BNB, what an incredible place to stay. I appreciate the fact they don't have to shut the ruins down, obviously there are not deviants that destroy such places. The irrigation system is incredible, I've read about it but have never seen it "live" before. What a great experience 👍🏻🌞👍🏻🌞👍🏻!
I love your slow days...we all need them! Be blessed!
I’ve really looked forward to seeing your Peru videos, even with the ups and downs because that’s real life. The Sacred Valley is beautiful. What an idyllic place to chill for a couple of days during your touring. ❤️
I am so enjoying traveling along virtually .... thank you for sharing this experience with all of us.
Beautiful cemetery and greenery!
I Love witnessing your travels!
The way you film and especially how willing you have been this time to share the not so great moments too, you have given us all these wonderful glimpses of places we may never be.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your family and adventures with us! I enjoy them so much! I love how you strengthen your family bond through these adventures!
Such a beautiful sacred place so much peru significance for so many people of faith it's very dear to many people's hearts even if they never visit
Tell your kiddos there's ALWAYS two rainbows. You just have to look harder sometimes for the second one.
I seen another one above the rainbow
I didn't know that! Very cool!
Interesting
Well that looked like an amazing day full of rest, casual walks, naps, games and of course food !!!
I love watching so thank you !
Your trail walk reminded of the 80's movie "The Labarinth," mystery & secret doorways around every turn, but much more beautiful.
Churro came to Latin America from Spain. That kind of churro at minute 22:20 was born in Peru. It is different to the star form across the Continent
Wow! So glad you slowed down a bit and changed your plans! GOOD JOB! It's so easy to get excited about a trip and overplan (I do a bit of international traveling and I often overextend myself with plans and itineraries!). Sometimes, just taking a breather and appreciating where you are can make all the difference! Again, kudos to you for rethinking and replanning because we get to see the beautiful results of those decisions! :)
A "Guard Bull" lol so funny 🐂👍🤣
Wow I just read a lot of the comments and rather than writing it all over I’ll just say I agree with everybody. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!
Wow, so beautiful there! This has been the best place so far with gorgeous views, mountains, history, comfortable place to stay, rest & relaxation, shopping, & great food. What more could you ask for! Great video

How amazing to just stumble upon the ruins, like that! Beautiful area! Not quite done with the video, want to say how much I hope that Daniel starts to feel better soon - makes me so sad to see him so sick. Esther, you’re such a sweeeheart playing with the littles.
“A guard bull” lol
What a beautiful place! I could spend weeks there.
Wow! It is amazing and very beautiful there! I loved the beautiful cemetery and ancient palace. Weren’t the viaducts awesome! Lots of water, staying hydrated really helps in high altitudes 😄. But I’m guessing you are probably not needing that info now.......blessings to you all!
The place where you are staying this time is beautiful!
I enjoyed your slow day in fact I am going to enjoy it again....I wish you all were on all the time like a reality show.

Enjoying see Peru and all your videos. Your family is amazing. Hope Daniel feels better. He is an amazing young man. Esther is the best sister and so helpful to your family. She is always wanted to help.
I love the stone walls, the passageways between the walls and the viaduct that you walked beside. It's all very nice!
I loved that cemetery and that rainbow was awesome, I am sure it was more beautiful in real. I am loving this adventure y'all are on...thanks for sharing this with us. xx

Mike’s reaction to that bull: “oh”. Living legend!
So melancholic, I'm from Ecuador and reminds me so much of la Sierra of my country...
We use to eat the fruit from the cactus, the ripe ones! Sooo good...
