- In this video I will teach Padiddling. This is the skill of spinning a flat object on the pad of your finger. I'll show you the easiest way to get started. Then I'll teach you how to spin things like trays, books, and even kiddie pools. This is a creative life skill that is fun to do and fun to watch.

Thanks for sharing . Greetings from South Africa.
Thanks, friend. Merry Christmas!
Another great video
Thanks, Friend.
I totally did this as a teenager watching television. After a while i could spin any pillow on any finger or thumb on either hand. I progressed to books and other objects. I thought it was cool but everyone i knew thought it was silly... Maybe silly is good!!
Awesome. Silly can totally be good. Besides...they probably couldn't do it.
You used to do this with cafeteria trays. Inspired me to teach myself to do it too!
Yay, Tony. Awesome!
Hi Slim. I don't think any age is too late to start. Magic stuff is fun, and you can start now. I think the best way to get started is by learning card and coin magic. The best book that I know of for card magic is "Card College" by Roberto Giobbi. I was older than you when I first got that book. As a matter of fact my mother and father-in-law gave it to me for Christmas back in the day. The best coin magic book to start with is "Modern Coin Magic" by JB Bobo. Online you can start looking around at the Penguin Magic store. You can buy those books there and see all the other stuff that is coming out regularly. As far as CZcamsrs go, I have a lot of respect for Rick Holcombe. He is specifically a coin magician, but he has great insights about coin magic and performing in general. I hope that helps you get started. Have fun!
Maybe I will have to try to learn this to entertain my kids!
Haha! Do it! Better yet, teach it to them!
Love. Ur. Videos. It helps me. Make. Be more. Creative Of. My magic
Thanks, friend.
hey!! i can spin an xbox one on my finger! i taught myself how to do this!
This is a great tutorial and I've been following along and made it to spinning cafeteria trays! And I'm getting pretty good! 😎 Thank you! But I keep having the same problem where my finger will inevitably move away from the center more and more until I lose control of the tray. Is there some way to correct this problem? Or am I doing something wrong that is causing this to happen? I did try adding the tack cloth to the bottom which was helpful but didn't completely solve the problem.
Yeah, sometimes that happens to me too. I think with more practice you just get used to "skootching" your finger back to the center. After a while this will happen pretty intuitively and your muscles will just sort of remember what to do.
@@heypete1827 I'll try it and keep practicing - thank you!!
Cool. I think you'll get it.@@Leah-bd2iv
Do you have an affiliate link for a sriracha shirt? I could totally get into one.
Haha. I'll see if I can do that.
