- Geo discusses why he would like West Ham United to announce the future of David Moyes ahead of the final home game of the season against Luton Town. The Scotsmans contract expires in June and the Hammers have reportedly held talks with Rúben Amorim and Julen Lopetegui as they look to replace David Moyes. Some players such as Aaron Cresswell and Angelo Ogbonna may also play their final game for the club against The Hatters

100% agree about Cresswell and Ogbonna. Rare to get that type of service in the modern game. Hope they get a great reception at the end of the Luton game; if we’ve got nothing to play for let’s hope they get some minute’s on the pitch.
Especially since we usually have a few subs spare 😂
Especially oggy love the geezer
I think as paying customers we are entitled to know the situation. The club are handling everything in a piss poor way.
Nothing unusual I'm afraid.
@@alasdaircampbell1779 Sullivan the James Bond villain...
@@hustlecrowe84 Odd job!
Are you surprised?. I'm never shocked with how bad the incompetency of this club's management has become. Whenever an owner tries to pick players and stick their beak into the playing side you know its a tin pot set up.
@@alasdaircampbell1779 dead ringer!
The Luton game will be my last game and the last penny I put into Sullivan's pocket if he doesn't get this new coach/manager position right.
Saw the title and thought it was “David Moyes future announced” 😭 ive never clicked a notification so fast
I apologise 😂
total click-bait :)
@@stevepalmer3817 but it doesn’t say it’s announced, Steve 😂
Let's face it the way WH is run, no serious manager with promise would touch WH, Vince Company would be the kind of option that makes more sense as hadn't got a reputation too destroy but has knowledge. The last few days regarding potential replacements has been the usual merry go round that the board does. Moyes should have gone last summer with more potential of another big club being interested & WH new manager would have European games / not now ? This wouldn't worry V. Company.
Amorim will announce on Saturday he is leaving and the cup final will be his last game at Sporting. Moyes will announce he is leaving also and Amorim will be incoming
Wouldn’t that be good. I’d have to apologise to Sullivan

I agree Geo, if Moyes is going the club should announce it now, so we can celebrate the achievements of Moyes before the end of the season, the most successful manager in the clubs history, lets give him a good send off, which he deserves, instead of dragging it out and watch things get more and more toxic and it ends with him being booed out of a job, David Moyes should be thanked properly
Hope you go with this narcistic prick moyes to his next club . Oh no club coming in for him ? But his a fantastic manager eh. Look at his cv over all his career.
Thank him for depressing me...bollox to that can't wait for him to piss off
Getting rid, and telling the board to get rid, isn't thankful. It's two-faced fake.
@OzzyOscy The guy is a cancer in our club if you like him then go with moyes to his next club. I don't see people knocking on this c--t of man's door to employ the narcistic prick
I understand why some people don’t like Moyes.
I’ll be glad when he’s gone too… but….
There’s no doubting the way he’s stabilised the club, got us 3 European campaigns in a row and a trophy. So for that… I will always hold him in high regard! And say thank you to him. Other than that… I’m excited for the new era and what we can do!! COYI ⚒️
There’s been some really good moments under Moyes tenure. Any fan who mocks that is crazy…. I want him to go now as I believe he is at his sell by date. He should have gone after the Conf League final. He’d have left a hero. He’s let this season slip through his fingers by failing to be proactive both with acquisitions (January mainly) and squad rotation and this will now tarnish his legacy for a lot of fans. It’s a shame he has allowed it to go like this as it could have been very different. But the milk has turned sour now and it’s time for a fresh pint. But even with this I am thankful for the moments he has brought us in Europe and stabilising an unsteady ship. So I wish him nothing but the best for his future wherever that may be. I pray it isn’t with us though 😎⚒️
He really has been his own worst enemy...
Agreed Geo - Its madness to not just announced he is leaving. It will give fans a boost and they will get behind him and the team knowing this dis no jeopardy in doing ao
I meant to say this as well but video was long enough anyway, some may feel the need to voice their view on Moyes at the Luton game but an announcement would remove that requirement and I think anyone anxious over the future, could relax
@@HammersChat 💯 agree! My belief is we are allowing Amorim to finalise his league win and announce he is leaving with final game being the cup final.
Amorim is imho 99% coming to us bar some madness.
I can’t see it but I hope you are correct mate.
If I had to bet today, it would be on Fonseca.
@@HammersChat - My view is that 1) No way Amorim is flying over etc…. Without having had in depth conversations 2) Tim and Sully would have also spoken to him with regard to shared vision (no way it was a bombshell presentation as reported by some sections of the media & “ITK’s”) 3) He has important games that have to be respected 4) Romano is briefed by Steidten = Narrative changes related to above reasoning
Who remembers Andy Irving who we brought in the summer from Austria Klagenfurt and loaned him back. Scored hat trick yesterday against salzburg
9 goals and 5 assists in 27 games
Seen that, a very weird purchase considering nothings happened between the clubs and whatnot
Could be a good player for us unless moyes is still in charge
This definitely stinks of Sullivan playing games. I can see Tim getting frustrated with having his hands tied, if he goes it would be a massive lost chance.
This sounds like another Pellegini situation where Sullivan says we got the manager in that the fans want when nobody was championing Pellegrini.
I fear our next coach will be underwhelming.
Like nick said on claret and booze Michelin star ingredients and a mcdonalds chef in charge ,just about sums it up.
Why would the club come out and say he's leaving? When in your own words you say that he might get a contract extension if we qualify for Europe.
Moyes stays or goes is the ripple on the surface for our club, this summer is a significant transition with Tim S getting to do the real work & multiple contracts being concluded not only Moyes but more about our board!
I too hope the club clarify what is happening because if gaffer is going it would be great for him to get a good send-off at the luton game.
I’ve got his send off gesture right here pal --- 🥾

Is that when he would apologise for the endless shit performances and results he is culpable for?! And no, HE did not win us the Conference league, we won it IN SPITE of him and thanks to Paqueta and Bowen.
@@KM-yg1tb You keep telling yourself that..reality is very different.
There needs to be a vast improvement from the top down. Owners have to display greater ambition, intent and accountability and ensure this flows through the whole club to give any new manager a chance. Otherwise we will see a repeat of the previous lethargy and inconsistencies.
I wouldn't be suprised if Moyes has told the board he is leaving behind closed doors and they are holding off the announcement untill after the City game at the end of the season.
I think for me that I really want him to go but at the end of it when you sit and look at what he give us the last 3 years some absolutely incredible memories we will never forget
both cresswell and ogbonna deserve testimonials...no joke
Well said Geo
This video is full of common sense
Are you on the payroll too?
We're out of Europe, and could still end up outside the top ten. It's disappointing to think that Moyes' departure might be the highlight of the season.
Agreed, but it still will be by huge margins
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the new manager if there is one coming in. to arrive at the start of next season campaign also the four or five new recruits that we are apparently getting in ,,last day of the transfer window
I think they need some clarification on the situation, if only for season ticket sales
Gonna end up with that shitty Ex-Wolves Loopy geezer will be fkn 60 in 2 years come August!, Need to take a risk on a younger talented Manager
Loopy Geezer, brilliant 😂
Surely Moyes has to come to terms with a departure now, as he has not managed to achieve the target he set himself. The board will be looking for a replacement, albeit they will not make a statement until the seasons ends. He deserves a grand farewell, as he managed us through an unprecedented term in our club's history. He brought us so much after we lost our ground, even being replaced by the vampire at one point, onlym to be reappointed!
What's the target that you said he allegedly set for himself
I agree with you Geo. Def not a fan of Moyes but it could have been worse and the club is better placed after his tenure. I think that he deserves some level of respect and certainly not some of the abuse which is akin to cyber bullying. Moyes is paid big bucks and has thick skin but his friends and family will be aware of the hostile narrative. He must be replaced however
When does Moyes contract end june 30th? Season ticket renewal deadline is 3rd June I believe,my worry is this drags on.
Personally I am happy to renew without knowing who the next boss is,but am not renewing until Moyes has gone
In some ways, I feel bad for Moyes. Although he is a narcissist and quite unpleasant, he has produced great results and should receive a fantastic send-off.
By not announcing that he is leaving, there is a chance that he will get booed, especially if Luton either beat or outplay us.
This is ultimately what happens when you have a coward as an owner.
That last part is very important too, fans not knowing may see them be reluctant to applaud and I include myself in that to be honest. Last thing I’d want is for the board to view it as an act of support!
@HammersChat Sullivan would probably see it as that because I imagine that Moyes is his dream manager.
Sullivan doesn't like spending money, Moyes doesn't want a big squad = spend less money and Sullivan can use Moyes like a human shield to take any criticism.
Nice Henley Geo
Everyone knows his future, he is leaving no doubt about that
Some feel he is staying and this is just the smokescreen.
I agree. He's leaving. With all of the talks with other candidates, it's hard to see it any other way. I'm absolutely amazed at how people can read into things so much that they convince themselves that the most rational and obvious answer is incorrect. Smokescreen?! Ha, it's just MDS. Just like some Americans suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, lots of West Ham fans suffer Moyes Derangement Syndrome.
If Sulivan did meet up with Ruben, I feel we were NEVER gonna find out if Ruben was signing a contract or not because Amourim still has important targets and goals for this season. We will be told shortly after last game of the season.
Moyes out.
Is my cheque in the post then Gary 😂😂😂 i hope so I’ll put it towards my 24-25 season tickets 😉⚒️⚒️⚒️
😂😂 the whole thing is wild, let’s IMAGINE it was true, the club is paying people to say they’re glad Moyes is going but I will clap him as that’s all that’s happened here.
Can the club genuinely enter a new era with Sullivan in charge?
If he changes his ways, I think so. I’d argue we did for the last 3 years?
Maybees aye, maybees no!
Moyes out now
This is farcical. Moyes should have got a contract extension after winning the ECL, and told he'd be fired (with a healthy pay off) if he failed to qualify for Europe at the end of the season, with a potential replacement lined up. At the moment, he's being humiliated by the board, his authority with the players has been undermined, and the fans are confused about what's going on.
Who would work under Sullivan/Brady?
Moyes and Lopetegui 😂
I forgot 5m a year is decent carrot .
An eejit.
Sullivan is not letting scarf man do his thing I’ll be shocked if he does ( football manager ) all over again, he will never let go of the purse or control
I’ve got a weird feeling Moyes is going to come out in the presser tomorrow and announce he’s leaving. I don’t think he’s the type of person that can take the club going behind his back, and potentially speaking to other managers. He wants the power in every situation. After what’s happened this week, I think he’s going to take the power out of the clubs hands
We will need to secure a new coach before Luton if they are going to announce it though Geo as we will be cutting our own throat if he goes and we haven’t got someone in place just my opinion
I get that but I think we have maybe already done that by talking to other managers (allegedly)
We would be better off without anyone
I'd rather have nobody in place instead of Moyes again. Nolan or Noble as interim works, just get Moyes out.
Looks in Portugal as if Amorim may well stick with Sporting for now.
In the relatively short time Amorim was on English soil, I struggle to see he had time to meet Steidten at point a and Sullivan at the mansion, driving in London is bloody slow at the best of times.
It would be very disrespectful of the SS not to meet him at the same location so the time available, because of the scheduled flight times, is maximised.
I’m sure the deal had already spoken and agreed in principle through Steidten, the meeting with Sullivan was to agree everything.
He never went to London, his flight came into Stansted which is about 19 miles a 30-40 minute drive to Sullivan's place at Theydon Bois.
@@steveanderson1089 I wasn’t aware of that, but I would still presume the ‘meeting’ was at one location and any deal has already been discussed.
@@billclarke7893 Probably right Bill, apparently his flight landed shortly after 6.30pm and took off again at 10pm, so with the transfer to and from Sullivan's pad he couldn't have been there much more than an hour/hour 30, perhaps he just wanted to see if Sullivan's got the money he say's he has 😄
@@steveanderson1089 or have a look at his back catalogue 🤔
The problem the board have is they want to keep DM, he's brought stability, doesn't like to spend or take risks, and we've had Europe. Unfortunately for them, he has not engraciated himself with the fans. If David Moyes had come here, embraced the ethos, the club, the badge colours and history, then he would be loved, and I believe the football would be tolerated, not loved, but tolerated. But Mr Moyes gives the impression that he's managing any "team", that he is the nexus; that the club identity is negligable, and that the fans are out to lunch. Clubs are no longer all about the manager ( Fergie, Clough, Robson, Mourinho...). Those days are gone. It's a team.
Angelo was a great servant for the club I hope they don't let them go without recognising them Anne Cresswell as well
Please say caught Zuma and a guard haven't got long left on there deals because they are too that could go I know divine wants to play football but he should be careful look what happened with Harrison Ashby and the player that went to Watford counting of his name but they are not getting on well
Harrison Ashby thought he was going to be playing Champions League football and he's playing championship football

If Sullivan had his way we will either have another two years of Moyes or be talking to Steve Bruce

We had a good team but a piss poor manager.⚒
Maybe Moyes himself simply doesn’t want it announced yet?
Can’t all the other shareholders club together and tell the dwarf 2 keep his nose out 🤷♂️
Con league was third rate imo. We should have and did win it. Fans enjoyed the day out but now we should move onto bigger expectations.
I dont think he wants to say goodbye or anyone cares do they?
I agree it feels inevitable he leaves... I don't think he'd play under Steidten - why bring in Tim if not to choose the manager to use the players he selects..? I really hope that Sullivan doesn't play the, we tried hard to get someone but no one better then Moyes is available card... I think Moyes going is a natural conclusion to 4 years wherein Moyes has stabilised the club and given us a bit of European prestige, I'd rather he wasn't sacked, I don't think he deserves that... I also do hope that we look back at his time with us positively because he's definitely been a positive influence on the club and has earned our respect and gratitude ⚒️
Agree with every word of this Jay, I wanted him sacked during the World Cup but changed mind again in Feb time due to the alternative (Rafa) and I thought Moyes would keep us up and win the Conference League anyway, which would have been the ask of the new manager.
Do think he stayed a year too long myself but it’s not been a disaster this season, disappointing and lack of entertainment but ultimately not the worst season ever and leaves us in a good position for the next one along in my opinion
If I disagree with Gary will the club automatically pay me?
Maybe, have to ask him.
He has definitely earned a polite round of applause.
1,000,000% PR bullshit from Sullivan
He’s not looking to replace Moyes - he’s looking to sell Season Tickets.
It’s not Amorim that sully hopes will sell tickets - it’s reports he’s even looking to replace Moyes.
Yeah that’s what Daniel said and thought it was a very good point/way of looking at it
All the owners of West Ham including Sullivan, would you mind selling up?
To be fair the Gary fella didn’t say anything todo with tickets or our owner just the gaffer he’s probably just really unhappy because of the football

In my view the decision is purely down to Moyes. If he can put his ego & narcissism away regarding how the fans despise him he'll renew his contract. If he continues to sulk he won't. @@HammersChat If your using an iphone there's going to be a lot of compression anyway and you need to reduce your focal length on a normal lens(50mm) to about 1,2 to get some DOF.
