I’m a Newcastle fan and we interviewed fonseca for the job before Howe but something put us off him so we went with Howe instead. I think he had a few red flags apparently.
One last battle? More like one more chance for Klopp to tickle and belly-rub Moyes. One last battle makes it sound like a contest between tactical equals, when, in reality there's such a gulf between the two.
I always find it fascinating when managers like Pep and Klopp are asked about opposition managers in the pressers before the games. Pep came out and praise De Zebri's coaching, but when it comes to the likes of Moyes and Hodgson, they only politely praise them for their longevity.
Cannot wait for Moyes to depart, and the day we finally get a manager that worthy of praise for their tactical innovation.
