    Exos' bass is more refined. JBL's bass is fatiguing, more a pounding speaker for outside party use. I would pick the Aiwa.

      Get 2 please...... And remember when. Watching these vids that the partybox has 2 bass drivers( bigger too) so it would sound a bit better but when you add extra aiwa to even up the bass..... It destroys jbl...... I both jbl and aiwa...... Aiwa is better..... I just wish people would stop comparing with one speaker because like I said for example jbl has 2 drivers while aiwa has 1 smaller driver...... When u add extra aiwa it wins hands down......

    Have the exo 9 and I think the jbl sounds better imo when paired tws . From the videos I have been watching. It’s a shame the exo9 is basically discontinued or hard to find. I’d say booth are a great speaker. I’d choose the jbl if you want an indoor outdoor speaker.

    You forgot something very important, the aiwa has an LCD screen with 5 equalizing bands +- 12db and 3-way sound, the bass speaker has a double coil and the high speakers are dome tweeter, those who know these aspects will always choose aiwa exos 9, maybe jbl can be heard a bit louder 1vs 1 , but in terms of clarity, it can never surpass aiwa, it is proven, 3 ways vs 2 ways!!And dometweeters for hights its incredible sound for a portable speaker,,almost hi-fi !!

    2 Aiwa s and it's over. The sound is incredible. I only own one but it's awesome. It's stereo and sounds more refined, cleaner and better for a party. The JBL is great don't get me wrong but I prefer the Aiwa sound. Fuck it, buy all of them. I've got my eye on a JBL 310....check it!

    Great comparison, exactly what i was looking for. I can't decide between them both. In consideration of battery life I think I should go for the JBL. But I hardly found someone who plays metal in his videos. I know that the Aiwa sounds great for metal, but what is about the JBL? there must be a reason why everyone is only listening to electronic music while reviewing any JBL speaker. Maybe metal fans are the wrong audience for JBL? :D

    the jbl partybox is louder when connected to the AC outlet. from 60watts of power by just the battery to 120watts i guess when you plug it to the AC

    • @hzd1494
      @hzd1494 Před 5 lety +1

      Myk TA I know this comment is old, but don’t believe that regardless if the PartyBox 300 is plugged in or not, it’s 120Watts, same thing for the BoomBox & Xtreme 2.
      If that was the case though, you’d be able to tell, for example
      Scenario #1 PartyBox 300 unplugged = Less Bass & Loudness
      PartyBox 300 Plugged in = More bass & loudness
      That’s not the case though ik for the fact I own one,
      The only thing that changes when you plug the PartyBox 300 up To AC is it gets a bit louder that’s it.
      Soo whenever JBL says a certain watt unplugged & a certain amount of Watts on AC is a Lie, the speaker just gets louder.

Jbl does not and the only reason it sounds sightly better when your comparing it with one aiwa vs one party box is becssue the party box has 2 bass drivers...... Even up the comparison s amd link that extra aiwa and you ll think you have godzilla in your house........
