      The bunker would be crawling with Nazifans and your mention of guards acknowledges that. Shitler DIED there and it is an obvious memorial site, and flowers would be placed on his birthday and deathday. There would be Nazi marches, counter demos and disorder and public safety issues. I've seen Nazis at Auschwitz but it is necessary to keep THAT site in order to memorialise people who are worth memorialising. Shitler is not worth memorialising.There's plenty of WW2 material history. We can't keep everything. Almost the entire West Wall is intact, for example. Shitler is far too popular considering what he did. He is on British TV almost every day. I don't know why you seem to value the Shitler bunker. Maybe you can explain.

It’s hypocritical how the allies only declared war on Germany because they invaded Poland but didn’t declare war on the Soviet Union for taking the eastern half. Additionally the Soviets took over 10% of Finland, all of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Bessarabia. And yet the allies turned a blind eye to this.

    People who think Hitler went to Argentina don't understand Hitler. He loved Germany to a point we can't understand. He wouldn't marry Eva Braun because it would take away his time for the nation. The man genuinely believed that Germany could somehow through its greatness pull through and beat back the allies. Do you honestly think a man like that would go live in a shithole in Argentina never to be heard of again? Cmon people. By that time in the war he was so depressed, stressed, and medically screwed that he probably wanted to die.

    • @rare6499
      @rare6499 Před 6 lety +71

      Dylan Whitaker absolutely spot on. Anyone who believes he died outside of Berlin is a fool. They fail to recognise the dire military situation Germany was facing in those last few weeks of the war that would have made such an escape not only incredibly dangerous but highly unlikely. But more to the point they fail to recognise the basic facts and traits that we know of Hitler's character. This man would never have left Berlin, to live out a quiet life in some shack in South America. The theory is beyond preposterous. It shows an unbelievably ill judged view of Hitler's character. Hitler was the Third Reich and he saw no purpose of life beyond it. He died in his bunker after marrying Eva, which was the signal that he has finally given in to the reality and magnitude of his impending defeat. Also, if Hitler had escaped, why did Bormann not escape with him? Why did Goebbels shoot himself and allow his children to be killed? Wouldn't Bormann of all tried to escape with Hitler? He clung to every last bit of power. Why would Rochus Misch and others continue to state Hitler committed suicide even through years of torture at the hands of the USSR? The whole notion is fucking ridiculous the more you map it out.

    • @henrikhilskov
      @henrikhilskov Před 6 lety +24

      Hitler was a physical and mental wreck suffering of Parkingson and dependent of drugs. There would not be a chance of him escaping Berlin the last days.
      And you clearly misunderstand Hitlers psychopath character traits. No doubts that he suffered this mental problem. He was allready declared this during his hospitality last days of the war.
      That to say it was not about him loving Germany but all about his megalomania and nothing but that.
      Next you do not have any insight of how a depression is build up and how a depression not therated is followd by suicide.
      So off course Hitler and Goebbels commited suicide. It had never ever been a matter of heroisme or fanatisme. Yes the mental depression started when their dreams of a new world crashed. But Hitler nor Goebbels had ever talked about them to die if their dream did not come true. Not before they actual started to go into depression.
      Next "They fail to recognise the dire military situation" is half a lie.
      What allied had NOT been very interested to tell is that the Russian army had put their LAST reserves into the campaign to defeat Berlin. And next reserve would had been ready in September 1945.
      The western allied had used all their ressources and had no fuel and no airplane boms left at all. A facts Patton complained about allready in december when he was not allowed to pursuit the German army when the German army failed to win the Battle of the Burgle.
      What the world also forgot is that the long term army reserve build of for the German army was planned to peak August 1945 when the German army was planned to have 2,000 Tiger II tanks and 1.000 jet figthers and jet bombers all enoufgh to defeat both the Russian army and the western allied on the western front one month before the allied could be ready. This is so much the truth that peple kind of oversee that fact that the official reason to have the D-day the summer of 1944 was of that and only of that reason. "Before Germany went so strong that it could not be defeated".
      There is 3 major strategically episodes that schould had revealed for Hitler the war was lost: 2 months after D-day the US airforce started to bomb the fuel factories, same time they delayed production of the 2,000 Tiger II's to only 200 until the factory was captured in MARCH 1945. Actual all spareparts to build the tanks where at the factory. So if you can your math it is CLEARLY that those 2,000 tanks would had been ready for action in August 1945. The last drop was when the last big strategically ammunition factory in Germany was destroyed by bombs beginning of April 1945. The jet fighter factories was NEVER bombed.
      More than 2,000 pilots was during their last training when war ended.
      The trainig was delayed because of the lack of fuel.
      Hitler was so smart that he was one of the few persons that had ALL the informations of this there is now well know fact to everybody that have the willingness to find those sources there is public today after decades of intelligence work and read them correct in a strategical point of view.
      So Hitlers was not mad when he repeatly said his mantra "buy me time" since Stalingrad defeat jan 1943. But people and army stopped believing him particular after the russian and western allied went into Germany and the all started to surrender in ten of tousands. Now we again speak of march 1945.
      So back to reality. WHAT day would it had been approperiate for a non insane person to give up the war?
      Clearly it schould had been realised during april 1945. But did Hitler not actual realised that during april 1945 because he actual killed himself that month?
      Analyses of the battle of seelowhighs revealed that only the commanding officer to late decision to put in his last panzer reserves of division Nordland actual got the russian to break through the defense area and give them full speed access to the capital Berlin and here we speak of a day beginning of April 1945.
      And Hitler KNEW that the allied in the west was missing fuel for their further adwance so he therefore ordered them to go in the direction of Berlin however the commander in the west did NOT knew the western allied had no more fuel so he did not do much an effort to rescue Berlin but pushed so much forward to save his friend the commander of the army south-east of Berlin there fled in his direction.
      Next also the push from north to save Berlin was NOT followed by the general. The push from noth was stopped by the german general just outside of Berlin to safe civilians to fled also because he had not the insight of the overall strategical situation of the russian army and the western allied as actual that attac was the only attack they wuld be able to do the next 6 months and Germany wuld be ready then to push them out of Germany.
      So if you read the books of what Hitler actual had said during his last meeting in the bunker or had seen the movie "the pitfall the 30 last days" he literaly said that the generals never had followed his orders was more or less correct.
      Many of the orders Hitler himself had given to the army was never followed as intended by Hitler. Even the stop of the army outside of Dunqirk was NOT the order of Hitler. Next mistake was when his generals did NOT followed his order of taking the oilfields of south russian FIRST and Moscou NEXT was followed by his generals and when Hitler realised this he tried to save the hole campaing by ordering the troops from Moscou to south front but to late go exploit the opportunity of a defeated russian army not ready for defense of the oilfiels or not even ready to blow them up.
      But to late. So Hitler rushed the troops back to Moscou and there too just a bit to late to take Moscou in lack of fuel of all that rushing panzers first from Moscou to south Russian and back again and give the Russians time to find fresh reserve divisions from the defence area toward Japan to arrive to Moscow.
      Next major disaster was when Goring miscalculated the airforce capability of supply the troops in Stalingrad. What Goring could not knew was the weather of winter was extraordinary hard that year too and the amount of pilots reserves russian picked up from the defense area towards Japan and been able to put the front was very high so they actual defeated german airforce there.
      Same time Hitler lost the war in Africa because the english army had been able to break the enigma code and sink all fuel supplies. ALL oil tankers was sunk and even ALL 6 oiel submarines was sunk too so the desert fox was not able to finish off the british in east before turning towards the US army arriving 2 months later in the west.
      The Kusk Battle was NOT a major defeat of the German army. It was a minior situation that actual only costed the Germans 200 of their strategically important tank the new Panther. That compared to the production of the Panhter in a total of more that 7,000 Panhter tanks..
      So not believing in the b.llsh.t of allied propaganda. How scould Hiter had known all that WHEN he planned his campaigns and his defences?
      NO commander can plan for every unexpected situation. Hiter did just had a bad luck and some very few bad strategically decisions bust most of the bad judgement was

The search went on until 1970 and it was at this time that many died in Argentina. Watch the documentary "Hunting Hitler" on History Channel. And what helps it to like Germany, if there the death sentence is established. After the documents there were escape plans. And who would equip half a country with escape tunnels and bunkers if it wants to kill itself in the end?

      Actually, there is plenty of evidence that Adolph Hitler and Eva Hitler fled to a remote part of Argentina and died in 1962. Stalin knew this, as did the American government. Deals were struck by the American government at the end of the war to obtain the German scientists and technology. Not pursuing Hitler and others like Bormann were likely part of the deals by General Hans Kammler. People don't want to believe that Hitler escaped punishment. In today's money, the Nazi leaders escaped to South America with hundreds of billions of dollars. That buys a bunch of cooperation.

      What do you mean "casting off its collective guilt".... The Germans beat themselves to shit over this stuff. That's one of the reasons they have such a huge refugee problem; they're still guilt-tripping about the Holocaust. You're truly a tool if you actually believe Germany is moving back to any semblance of its National Socialist self.
      What's more, why aren't you worried about the incoming Russian generations, seemingly unconcerned or even embracing of a return of a communist dictatorship? After all, communists killed ten times more people than the Nazis did during WW2. No one gets their panties in a twist over that one, though.
