I thought all trims had a 10 speed transmission??
It does. That is an error (filming too many vehicles back-to-back and missed the flub.)
My same thought!!!
Mmm

*I cannot get over with the tundra's interior, massive improvement for Toyota*
still no headroom
Lol ten years makes a difference.
@@icouch that’s a lot a headroom whaaaat?!?
Yep, changing my mind. Big time.
@@icouch you must have a strong head 😂
By far the best auto reviewer to test this beast…. Thanks Ryan
Love the brief cameo of a first gen on the street. Great review as always. Thanks for the content.
8:45 the driver in the Ram truck that was driving past you was really staring at the tundra, lol probably thinking of trading it in for the new tundra
Lol yes I could see it in his eyes that he really wished to be behind the steering wheel of the new Tundra 🤣
To be fair, I have a ram and bought it primarily based on the rear suspension. But deep down I had a bit of a love affair with the 3.5 ecoboost ... seems this is the best of both worlds with an unreal trade in value
I noticed that also. This new Tundra especially the TRD Pro is going to get a lot of looks
Ram driver probably was thinking wtf is are grill lights for Toyota think it's a trx wide?
@@jasonquaile2492 You only gonna end up heartbroken with that Ecoburst and Dodge...get the yoda... better resale value 10 plus years later by far compare to them other rolling pile of junk!!
You put out great material, keep up the good work. Love it
First review of this truck I watched, always the best first!!!
This is becoming my favorite automotive youtube channel
I'll take that exact Tundra, no need to change anything. It's beautiful!
Nice work! I like how you added the Toyota engineers input
Very informative, loved it, can’t wait to drive one, thank you
Aahhh finally, I've been waiting for your review, thanks
This guy has the best review. He goes off roading. Fun review
Very informative! Thanks!
Now this...this is what we've been waiting for. 🍻
Yo, this guy is a serious reviewer omg I feel like you could find any things this vehicle needs to be fix upgraded, or added to make it one of the most perfect and functional trucks out there. I,m glad i found his channel
It’s funny how’s Toyota’s pre production vehicles are still built better than some production vehicles loll
Funny how Toyota still has frequent safety recalls affecting 100’s of thousands of vehicles just like some other production vehicles too... And sad you’re blind to that reality;(
@@JeepCherokeeful Let's just be glad they're not PoS like the Chrysler fiats
@@JeepCherokeeful it’s with that it still beats out the rest it’s so sad your blind to that reality. Most pre production vehicles do not have good fit and Finish and some production vehicles don’t have good fit and finish either. But Toyota does because they invest in their products . So where in that conversation did you get safety recalls 😒 hmmm 🤔 you must be dealing with those jeep Cherokee safety recalls soo sad 😞 very poor crash ratings
@@JeepCherokeeful hahaha not a Jeep Cherokee fan talking. Jeep is the single most unreliable thing on earth along with all fiat products.
Getting ready to order mine super excited 😍
Great informative video. Thank you!
Damn ive been leaning heavy towards a f250 lariat 7.3 tremor. But toyota killed it and seeing all these videos is turning the needle for me. Im very interested in these now
Great review. Thanks. Love it
I appreciate that you know that some of will actually use this to pull a stump!
Glad they added a locker. Its crazy the trdpro never had one, almost embarrassing.
Was that a testament to how good the MTS was? And didn't some Land Cruisers even lack locking front and rear diffs?
@@user-cx2bk6pm2f they have had rear locker but not front but the atrac and mts makes up for that.
@@andyham6094 Some years of the LC200 did not have rear lockers, only central. The new LC300 can be specified with 3 lockers though 🤘🏼
Did it need one? The old Tundra climbed Hell’s Gate without lockers. I would think that is way more than most people off road with them right there.
@@JeremyGSU2011 where I live locker is a must. Aka muddy trails.
Great review Ryan, always liked your videos for the well organized contents that are easy to follow.
The Tundra seemed like a great truck. Even though I probably will never buy a full size truck, I would be excited to see the powertrain technology on this truck making it into other models like 4Runner, Rav4 etc. Awesome video!
Great review, Ryan.
Ryan has great reviews. Seems very knowledgeable about Toyota's.
This looks to be a compelling choice. Waiting to see the new lighting and Tundra. Plan on buying one of the two.
Time to get some food and sit and watch the whole thing. Thanks for the content.
Exactly what I want to see thank you!
Thanks for trying out the lane centering. Good to see on a truck. Clutch for road trips
Thanks for the rare shot of the SR trim! So much nicer without the blacked-out A-pillars! 2:05
Yeah, I’m waiting for your review!
Wow!! Big improvements, I like this truck
8:41 love the attention from the guys driving the ram.
Great review.
I can see my self spilling coffee or drinks on that CC and multi terrain button.
I liked it, many thanks to you
Looked like a fun time! Thanks for bringing us along Ryan!!
20:06 I love the loud ABS and banging. Makes me confident in it working
Right?!? I told them current owners want the noise. 😂
@@drivingsports I had a Nissan that would grind, bang etc and it worked great. My current 18 Chevy just reduces engine power and doesn’t grind and sucks. I love the ABS grind!
If I hadn't seen videos of it in action, the first time that I used it I would have thought there was something wrong with the vehicle. I hate it, I love that they finally figured out how to make it not sound like the vehicle is self-destructing, LOL.
I was waiting for your review!
You're so right. Nothing worse than having to go through menus and submenus to turn something on!
I hope the refreshed 4Runner will look like this, OMG!
I love those
I really like this truck! I’m thinking Limited iForceMax Crew Max Short Bed with TRD OffRoad Package for towing a camper trailer and off-road trail exploring with my family.
its a gorgeous truck
I have this exact color combination and I get it in two weeks. I cannot wait. The 10k dealer mark up was a kick in the pants, but I am sure I will love this truck.
Bro it’s a nice truck but you just threw away 10 grand lol. Noooooooo never pay mark ups lol nothing is worth mark ups even Toyotas
@@dcman4902 I didn't have much of a choice if I wanted this truck when I bought it, and I needed to dump my Raptor which I beat the hell out of. See my CZcams channel and you will see why. LOL
Very nice review sir, and very nice truck inside and out,
TNGA, hope to have here in the Philippines
This is looking really really good.
Gonna do what I can to try and get a new one. SR5 trim, double cab, bedliner and convivence package, 4wd. for around 40-41k ? These are the best full size pickups on earth to me.
8:44 the Man in the RAM looks really interested LOL this truck is awesome
The best part of all this is the high standard quality of this brand.
The red interior is sick
Unreal. - I watch this channel all the time. Did CZcams show me this video when it came out, when I was watching a bunch of videos about the new Tundra? Nope… But my feed is filled with stuff I’ve already watched. Unbelievable. To put so much work into an algorithm and have it suck so bad.
wow! what a beast! I love it
8:50 haha that guy was drooling 🤤 at your truck 😂
Love this Truck.
Thanks man for the video very informative as always.beautiful truck I want one. I’ll trade mine .
wow, can you imagine all this tech and great interior design for the 2023 4runner? Homerun for Toyota!
If we can get this engine in the 2023 4Runner, our 2021 will be due for a trade-in.
And the 🌮
@@drivingsports 100%! The only thing that I dislike about my 4Runner is the V6. It's definitely my least favorite engine of any vehicle that I've ever owned.
Love it!!!
0:43 The SR5 looks bad ass
I want this truck hopefully I can get one in 6 months
Your right about the multi functions on one screen. They need to change that.
*I really enjoyed this video but I don’t know what it is. There’s just something magical about taking a full-size truck off road. It takes me back to the 1990s when I had a Chevy Scottsdale and spent the whole weekend out in the woods.*
That red interior and the front and back 😍 the tundra is finally cool looking
Gosh is bright and ugly!!
Looks ugly as fuck to me. It's a truck not a sports car.
exhaust sounds good
Fully sick. 👍
I love the guy in the ram at 8:45 just staring hard haha
Im turning 23 this year and after 5 years i wish i could buy this toyota tacoma 2022 trd pro!😇🙏
I am glad the CRAWL CONTROL went quiet. I know it works but the old system was so irritating. I love quiet more and more as I get older. I still like my 20 with the V8. I am glad the bean counters put the driver grab handle back on. I wish my 20 had it.
Will be buying this as a graduation gift
Fantastic Job Toyota 👏
Definitely a Game Changer.. from the interior/gadgetry, to the fact that even with a Twin Turbo, powerful engine, you still only need 87 octane. I applaud you Toyota. The White/Red color combination is reminiscent of Porsche.
Also, glad you mentioned the Fanboys "K02" Which are terrible in the winter.
So because it sounds like the chatter in previous CC/MTS modules, is now reduced with software update/upgrade? Could that be integrated into Current 4Runner/Lexus models? Or am I still half asleep?
No the silence of the CC/MTS has more to do with hardware, it's not integrated into the actual brake controllers and throttle sensors and powertrain instead of heaving seperate sensors and modules fixed on.
@@abdullahbinshahid3199 Then, if that is truly the case, could it be retrofitted?
@@Kiss__Kiss I don't think so, the only vehicles that have come out with it are the land cruiser 300 series and this, both of which share the same frame, so I doubt any older models could get that aftermarket or from factory
@@abdullahbinshahid3199 With enough $$$ I am sure something could be done...
Never say never, when it comes to Vehicles.. Remember the old amphibious?? lol
@@Kiss__Kiss true true lmao nothing's impossible
Nice truck and nicer video, i live in San Antonio 🇺🇸🇵🇷

My dream car
The new grill on Tundra Pro is Nasty😬. Keeping my 2016 Tundra which is PD In Full.👍 I have over 900,000 miles of use left in my old Tundra😉
Nothing beats no car payment
Nice review! Very frank, concise and knowledgeable. Loved the voice assistant. She’s opinionated! 😂🛻
Toyota need to take this interior and put it into all of their new upcoming products and boom top of the class combine with new turbo charged engine’s can’t be beat
a Great Review without corny jokes and annoying banter
thanks for using engine/motor correctly
Really great review. Love this and the Sequoia. But man I hope they go with a black headliner!
Nobody is, because lighter colors overhead create a sense of openness, airiness, and cleanliness. Dark colors feel closed in and claustrophobic. I hate how dirty the light headliner gets in my 4Runner, but they do it for a reason.
Excellent review as always.
Really hope we get some of that interior with the next 4Runner
Want it!
LOVE the Red.
It beats the 1990 Depressing Grey or Death Black interior colors
Thanks for the great video! I've owned 3 Tundras and planned to buy a 2022, but the lack of tow hooks is a show stopper for me. I sure hope Toyota addresses this deficiency.
there is some on the front of most of the new tundras, but they are way down under the front bumper so if you were actually stuck there a nightmare to get to
Same! Also the lack of leaf springs or a v8 option. It is no longer an off-roady work truck
The aftermarket crowd have it covered
I have a ‘22 Pro. Lift and 35s so far but I just ordered a new lower front bumper from CBI that has tow hook and winch mounts
@@marcofemto9417 lmao. youre the only person on earth who wants leaf springs.
I’ve got to get one
I love the truck, I actually the smaller screen more, buts that's just me. It's more affordable for me anyways. I really wish it had the full time 4wd, I had a GMC with it and it helps where I live quite a bit
very pretty nice truck and its very beautiful.
Love it
Can’t wait to drive these at work. Are demo is on it’s way to the dealership
texas dealership?
At 2:06 in the video you show footage of what appears to be a base model SR from the rear. I'd love to know if you had more footage of that or if that's from Toyota as promo footage where I could find more. That is the first time on ANY video I've seen a color-matched A-pillar and I think I'd personally prefer that.
At 8:40, check out the way the RAM driver was checking out the new Tundra. I wanted to share, this gave me a good laugh!!
He did say that there is a sucker born every minute.. a good response to what he was seeing
I miss living in Texas, but seeing you stop on I35 reminded me how horrible that interstate is.
finally! Our Washington dude is there yay!
That's a car i would love to buy!
The picture of that tundra in white and black. The first thought I had was a stormtrooper's truck
I need this truck.
3 review notifications this morning for the Tundra. I will watch this one first!
Ryan nice review....the new Tundra seems like a nice truck. Looks like you were working up a little SWEAT in there! No chance I'd ever buy one though. Living in Texas it would ONLY be a FORD "TEXAS model" 4x4!!!!
Is that the one made in Mexico? Or is it all other Ford trucks?
