Thanks for showing different methods of packing the C8. I seem to recall that GM used to have a spec for being able to have two golf bags in a trunk, but no longer is that the case.
i have the P1 Autoworks trailer hitch in my garage for my bike rack, awaiting my c8 next month, no intentions to pull a trailer like the Rick Conti video, this will make the car so much better for my use. thanks for the video
Hey what about putting a small bag in the trunk where the club heads are then put the clubs in?
Can you tell what size the large blue suitcase was that would not fit in the trunk please. My suitcase is 22x14x9 and I need to know if it will fit in the trunk please. Thank you for your help.

Having in 972 purchased the underpowered 914 Porsche with 1/7 liter engine that had a front trunk and a rear trunk. I never felt that I was missing storage space in that car. Much of the time I was driving solo, so I always seemed to have enough room. I used the passenger floor board and the passenger seat and both trunks and could move nearly as much that was usually carried in a standard mid-size car. The key with the Corvette is the excitement and capability of the car is so far beyond anything Americans have had in the past that the comparison ends with the room.. Further expansion of both cars was possible with the 914 having a lighter chassis but with the Corvette able to receive a number of different engines and upgrades much more easily that the little 914, which also had to have custom cooling installed for sustained hard work, while the Z51 already has cooling taken care of. AF
Haven't seen any C8 Corvette's on the road yet. Just during the press launch at Lake Mead

I know I saw a demo with 2 sets of clubs being placed in the back stow area. None the less I no longer play and at the rate of things I’ll never take delivery on my C8.
J Dixon Yeah, I’m not sure how they were able fit them in there, but maybe they weren’t cart bags.
Good video Mike, I will say the C7 is definitely better for packing. You can fit the large bags in the C7 Coupe much better. But you make the best of it!!

Nice bag loading but in reality when we pack backs we stuff them your bags are not fully stuffed but we get the idea it’s not that much space

The C8 will teach Owners how to pack smarter, not larger.😉 Good idea about delaying the Giveaway Mike. We're now recommended to wipe down anything we receive in the mail or via FedEx, UPS etc. and even food and liquid containers when we bring them home. Mike, GM didn't lie. The C8 will take two golf bags, they didn't say anything about taking the clubs as well.😁 Plus, you don't need all those clubs! I only take a putter, a 5 iron and a driver. No problem. The only problem is that I need to take a 180 golf balls. I average 10 balls per hole. I just love being in the rough and woods. And if the course has any water hazards, well, sometimes even having 180 balls isn't enough.😢🤣 Ultimately, you and Amber should consider taking up tennis.🎾😉 When all is said and done about packing up the C8 for long road trips, your demo is a great sales pitch to buy a convertible. You get to take everything you showed AND you can have the top down while traveling.

Peter Carey Very true Peter. I thought it was a good idea, I just think it’s better to be safe than sorry. Lol, I love my 14 Clubs, but I really don’t play very often anymore. Lol, on your golf balls comment, I have a friend like that. 😂🤣 Yeah, the convertible would be great for sure, but is it worth an extra 7k? Not in my book.
@@BrinkofSpeed Yeah, $7k is steep to have an automated folding top. I would learn how to pack even lighter if I wanted to take a road trip and wanted to have T-top off while doing so. Maybe one of the after-market guys will come up with a Bikini soft-top, so when it's removed it'll be no bigger than a golf umbrella for storage. Problem solved. Here's a bit of trivia for you. With the C2s and the C3s, the base Vette WAS the convertible. The coupes were more money. Times have changed.
Peter Carey It sure is. For me, there’s no need to take the top off until we get to the destination and unpack anyhow. Yeah, it is crazy how times have changed so much. Also back then you could buy a Vette for 5% of what I just spent on mine. 😊

No offense intended... but you are a terrible packer... LOL !!
I personally don't care about golf bags... but you need to use all 'soft bags' that can be compressed into the shapes of whatever spaces you have.
You should see me putting an overrunning shopping cart full of groceries in the back of my Mustang, which is already partly filled with a large tool box, a big blanket, and jumper cables. If they say 12.5 cubic feet... I will put 14 cubic feet of 'stuff' in there... SMILE !!
Sorry but the C7 kills the C8 for luggage. I get a set of clubs and two full size luggage bags and a small duffel bag in mine.

Unfortunately you didn’t demonstrate real world because most of the bags you put in where empty and NOT FILLED WITH CLOTHES, TOILETTES, ETC.
Empty or nearly empty bags in the trunk... Come-on dude. Feel like you are jacking us around. Try realistically filling those bags and duffels, then fit them in the trunk.
