  • Max Kanter, German athlete of the Astana Kazakhstan team, won the 2nd stage of the 2024 Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (TUR 2024).
    171 athletes participated in the 2nd stage, held on the 190.6 kilometer track between Kemer and Kaş. Kanter came first, finishing the longest stage of TOUR 2024, which included a category 2 climb between the 128th and 133rd kilometers, followed by difficult descents, in 4 hours, 43 minutes and 16 seconds.
    In the stage completed with a sprint finish, Henri Uhlig from Alpecin-Deceuninck took 2nd place and Tobias Andresen from Dsm-Firmenich PostNL took 3rd place.
    Mark Cavendish (Astana Kazakhstan) and Fabio Jakobsen (Dsm-Firmenich PostNL), two of the assertive names of the stages completed with a mass finish, were 9 minutes and 18 seconds behind the leader in the stage where they had difficulty.
