59th Presidential Türkiye Bicycle Tour

Dutch athlete Fabio Jakobsen of the Dsm-Firmenich PostNL team won the first stage of the 2024 Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (TUR 2024).
Jakobsen came first, finishing the first stage on the 134.7-kilometer track in Antalya in 2 hours, 56 minutes and 14 seconds.
In the stage that witnessed the sprint finish, Sasha Weemaes from Bingoal WB team came in 2nd place and Simon Dehairs from Alpecin-Deceuninck took 3rd place.
With this result, Jakobsen came out on top in the general classification and wore the "turquoise jersey". The 27-year-old cyclist also ranked first in the sprint class.
Michal Pomorski from the Mazowsze Serce Polski team was at the top of the climbing and Vinzent Dorn from the Bike Aid team was at the top of the Turkish beauties classification.
