  • @aidonis98
    @aidonis98 Před 9 dny

    The salary cap alone will prevent dynasty's going forward. The Celtics will learn this after next year, when they will have to go $100+ million into the tax to keep the team together. Spoiler alert: White will be gone. Porzingis will be gone. Hauser, Pritchard, etc. Get ready for Veteran minimums and rookies.

    I think it is unlikely that they will be a dynasty because it is unlikely any team can be a dynasty in today's game. But...if you had to pick a team that had the best chance of doing it, it would be the Celtics.

    Every decade has a team that stood out as the "dynasty". The Celtics could be that team for the 2020's. They are the only ones that have made it multiple Finals and ECFs in that span.
    Also, Tatum and Brown could end in the top 12 discussion if they continue to win. Saying at least one of them will NEVER get there is crazy. You could say it's unlikely and I would agree but never is insane.

    • @outhereq1
      @outhereq1 Před 9 dny

      Celtics are the best team of the 2020s so far. Only team worth mentioning is heat. It'll be between them two for team of the decade n I'd say it's leaning celtics heavy.

    This isn't a dynasty to me. They benefitted from a lot of injuries. If everyone stays healthy, I don't see a chance in hell of a dynasty. They're one and done. They're the 08 Celtics to me. This team is nothing like 08 who were old and put together quickly. The 2024 Celtics core has already been together for 3+ years and are young outside of Al.
      They've been to 2 Finals in 3 years, who in the East will stop them from the 3rd appearance?? 😂
