- " A Tennessee woman considered missing for the past few weeks while reportedly on a cross-country trip with her boyfriend has been deemed "safe," authorities say. Nikki Alcaraz, 33, was spotted in Redding, California at a Walmart store on Saturday, according to local police, and has been contacted by officers. She had initially been reported missing by the Moriarty, New Mexico Police Department while traveling with Steven Tyler Stratton, also of Tennessee.
Redding Police Department shared an official update on Tuesday via Facebook.
"On May 30, 2023, at around 4:30 p.m., the Redding Police Department learned Missing Person Nikki Alcaraz was contacted earlier today by the Eureka Police Department and found to be safe," the post stated. "The Redding Police Department has been in contact with the Moriarty, New Mexico Police Department and confirmed Nikki is no longer considered a missing person."

The shove she gave him combined with the clipped ears and toxic, abusive environment.... can only imagine that poor dog got dumped or worse in the mix of everything. Ty to the truck driver who actually pulled over to help. Despite what actually happened (I’m not clear) he absolutely did the right thing and should be commended. To many people would’ve ignored this situation thinking “it’s not my business” God bless him.
I watched the bodycam footage of this incident, and that truck driver truly was soooo kind. He was so helpful, and you can tell he was really concerned.
I don't think many people would ignore it -- whenever a man and a woman are fighting in the street the male witnesses will pile in and protect the woman, regardless of how at fault she might be.

My neighbors watched my ex beat the shit out of me when he was f'd up on xanax & whiskey for reminding him his mom wanted us to come over & stop & get sour cream. He says he "blacked out" and didn't remember it. but my neighbors sat & watched and then just walked back into their house as I got myself out of the car (my car I was driving) and ran away from him & let him leave in my car. most people will ignore it.
He was rolling down I-40 too, where trucker’s can really hit the Hammer Lane hard. He really should be recognized for stepping up to the plate!
That truck driver is 100% a damn good dude. We need more like that- standing up for what’s right, even if you don’t know someone.

(From what we know currently, hard to judge without all the information but sometimes judging a book by its cover is a beneficial strategy for one’s wellbeing.)
I’m not to the end yet, but at this point she is a “mother” but driving with some dude to another state taking shots of fireball while driving and beating each other. I try not to judge, except when there’s kids involved, and all I know is that kids deserve better than that. My kids come first.

I literally just posted about that poor dog. They love unconditionally and must have been so extremely distressed at this violence between his people. I wish people had to pass psychological screening before being allowed to have kids or animals.
I don’t know if this is a weird parasocial relationship thing but Christina always feels like a second mom sometimes. She just exudes a joyful and welcoming vibe that moms just have. I might just be weird if no one else feels like this a little.

That truck driver though, he was so chill willing to get her a lighter and a really good person in general to stop when he saw something he thought was wrong, so many people would have just passed that situation and not have done a thing.

There is a young lady missing in Smithville TN still. Brittany Miller. She went missing July 4, 2022 from her residence. Her mother is a very sweet loving lady that has been hit with dead ends at every turn. Local cops have not released much unfortunately. It would be great if you had time to look into this more. Do y’all know this special heart lady donates massive amounts to charities and follows up? She genuinely cares but is too humble to say anything. If you are on the fence as to subscribe or not, know that a massive bunch of her money goes to a good place (she would never admit it as she is such a good hearted person).

I absolutely HATE addiction and I know it is a disease. But, we should also respect the statement her ex-Husband made about Dad’s being courted as dead beats when they run off. He is 100% right and HE is stepping up for the kids. I commend him for that. I really hope Nikki gets the help she needs. It’s always the kids that suffer and that breaks my heart. ❤

I have nothing but respect and admiration for that truck driver. He absolutely did the right thing. I am a survivor of severe DV and I never had anyone stick up for me but one neighbor who got me to leave finally with my kids. He saved my life.. thank you sir for doing the right thing.
She definitely sounds loved by her family and friends. Refreshing to see in this world. Hope they get somewhere and get clean and start making positive changes.
Too bad she doesn't have that love for herself and those babies she brought into the world. Worried about Steven but not once called her kids and family untill she got rocked. She knew there was flyers concerned about her and she STILL didn't care. Big props to the father to step up and be the rock in his kids life while dealing with a deadbeat mom. As a woman with five older brothers, it is insulting that they weren’t both put in jail for DV. No problem slapping the cuffs on that guy and if it wasn’t for the fact that he had a wreck face and it wasn’t her blood all over his face, he would be sitting in the pokey. The best way to protect both people wouldn’t be to just separate them, but to put them both in jail

Yeah, I didn't think that was very fair either, but I'm guessing that they have different rules about cuffing men as a precaution because a man can be much more of a threat if he decides to get violent with them. That and they had an eye witness of him punching her in the face.

If what she said is true and he was driving and yet he has all those injuries, would you say it’s safe or unsafe to have someone who’s been drinking beating on you as you’re driving? Don’t get me wrong, the guy should’ve been tossed in jail as well, But when the trooper first came up to her she was acting all hard and as if she had done nothing wrong except get her butt handed to her and by the looks of that guys face, she won that fight and yet in today’s day and age where men can become women and women can become men, I guess looking at it From the point of view of a man beating a woman doesn’t quite hold the same weight than it used to And that is quite sad.

Don’t pass judgment! Plus you don’t know the whole story about them. I myself had to leave my children to be able to get out of a DV situation. I sent them to family members and I went to a DV shelter. After a very stressful year we are back together and safe. Don’t judge 😢

Nikki is no Gabby Petito. She's a tough cookie! It's easy to see who won the fight and it wasn't Stephen! Nikki obviously beat the crap out of him. I'm glad she was found safe, even though it was with another man. Supposedly, a friend, who knows...Nikki just needs to go home to her family, get some help and be a mom to her kids, before something worse happens.
If someone was beating the crap out of me I'd eventually fight back too. I think she's the aggressor and I also think they are both doing a little more than just drinking. Both could be terrible people but they could also be wonderful people once separated.

It definitely seems like this woman wants to leave her previous life behind. I get it that we can get overwhelmed with life when it’s too much going on & responsibilities are hard.
I felt like disappearing at some points in my life. But I would never do that to my family. I feel defeated so I can sympathize with her for not wanting to be found.
It upsets me that the police didn’t take them both to jail for visible injuries. That’s just bad policing. DV should NEVER be taken lightly.

I can say with good confidence that had it been 2 people of a darker skin color beating each other bruised and bloody on the side of the interstate that, most likely, someone would have went to jail. Racial disparities in America can show up in the craziest of places

Both need an intervention. Especially the mom, who seems to have abandoned her kids. It not only seems like they have a toxic relationship, but that addiction is involved. I'm very concerned for the dog's well being. I'm very glad the children are with others who care for their well being.
