She would be sharing her experience as an International Student so far; from schooling, accommodation to cost of living to tuition fees and some tips to International/foreign students coming into Ireland in 2021/2022/2023.

    Thanks a lot Ria and Amaka! I ve always had dreams of getting my Masters in either US, Ireland or Canada. Last yr, I watched Ria and Chilos content which fueled my zeal to choose Ireland over others.
    I think the reason Ireland is not that popular among international students is that most people think the whole Ireland is still part of the UK just like as I ve always thought until I started watching ur contents.
    I was able to get admission into UCD and was also awarded the GOI-IES scholarship for my Masters degree program. I ve been here for 3weeks now....and its all great!
    Pls, Amaka I will like to get the link to GNIB slots for UCD international students.
    Well done guys!

    Please I have a question Chiamaka, I actually want to go to UCD, it’s my dream school and the application portal is open for next academic session but I’m yet to write my IELTS, I’m to write it at the end of October. I don’t know if it will affect my application although I know that I can be given a conditional offer but I don’t know for how long? And I’ve not seen anything about the deadline for applications.

    • @chikaot1ofmbaiseandijebuode
      @chikaot1ofmbaiseandijebuode Před 2 lety +1

      I meant I can be allowed to submit my application without the IELTS and can be given an unconditional offer but I don’t know how long?
      Another question please, she stayed with a host family yeah but did she contribute to the paying of rent? Like I need to be clear on why they need people around if you’re not paying anything to them because you guys didn’t talk about payment of any sort.

      Apologies for the late response
      I’m glad UCD is your first choice 😉 and I hope you get in!
      Based on what I know you don’t need IETLS to apply in UCD just your WAEC result
      IELTS is needed for your visa application
      I hope that answers it

      Yes I worked part time during my studies. I joined a recruitment agency and gave them my availability times.
      The key to working and schooling is balance; yes the money is good but your priority is to get a degree

    • @gloria_memberr
      @gloria_memberr  Před 2 lety

      You’re welcome. Yes they’re part time jobs. I can’t say for nursing students but as a student, you would have days that would allow you work because you wouldn’t be going to school everyday. I think it’s possible to handle work and school together. But for a start, I’d say have a balance first with your school work before you start working
