It involves the health insurance fees for a student visa. Have not seen any concrete information on it on the Irish government website. Its the like IHS surcharge in the UK.

You can only get the health insurance in Ireland. There is one popular online insurance company called study connect and I think it is 210€ or thereabout

They’re fairly priced, everyone uses them and they’re widely accepted in Ireland. They have different types of insurance for different visa types.
