1) Open Windows - Seems too easy, but it's such an important tip. We have screens on our windows, so I open them every morning and sometimes in the evenings too to expose our home to as much fresh air as possible
2) Diffuse Essential Oils - As much as I adore candles and incense, diffusing oils is definitely a better option for the air quality of a home. This is the diffuser I use. I love how it looks like pottery and has a timer to turn off automatically. amzn.to/4egE2mP

*AP Cleaner - 4 parts water, 1 part Vinegar, 8-10 Drops Essential Oil
*Soft Scrub - 1/2 Cup Baking Soda, 2 Tablespoons Liquid Dish Soap, 2 Tablespoons of water or vinegar, a few drops essential oil
*Herbal Vinegar- Herbal Infused Vinegar ( 1 tablespoon of herbs infused in vinegar or 8-10 drops of essential oil)

do you know that baking soda and vinegar mixed together just cancel each other out ? they turn into water, carbon dioxide (the fizz) and an inactive salt. using baking soda on its own though with dish soap as you showed is a very effective scrub, and following with vinegar on its own will make the sink shiny due to its acidity (assuming the sink is metal) =)

Thank you. I have a video where I talk about it. We didn’t want to stay in CA long term. It’s very expensive, and not our favorite place to live. We decided to sell our CA home and buy something outright here in Tennessee. We’ve never been happier to be completely debt free, and also it’s much lower cost of living overall and more manageable size home. We absolutely love it here in Tennessee. It’s such a beautiful place, and we’re very happy with the decision to move out of CA.

Oh bummer! Yeh, at our old house in California we had so much dust kick up from the horses next door, it was really hard to keep the windows open.

Is there a way to store the soft scrub recipe for bathtub and shower?
It tends to dry out, so I make small batches on cleaning days. You could try storing it in a glass container that closes and see how it goes.
The floor you were using the steam mop on, is it hardwood or laminate? It looked like laminate.
