Nice informative video as always, I did the same thing on a white Ford replacing the rear door and it was a perfect colour match. You will need to swap over all the internal control boxes as well as the trim otherwise you will have to have the central locking and electric window reset. If you swap the original control box into the new door then no need to pay for reprogramming.

Hi from durham dee guys👋👍 great little episode this one 👌 in and out in one shout👍car came up a dream all clean👌 and as a bit of a someone who does the odd car myself I hate it when they cut wires and plugs ( for sake of un clipping one door plug just cut a load of wires (never easier either😡) I did duke engine swap last week and and 3 bit of loom where cut which meant I had to strip half the engine to get loom out correctly to reinstall on donor engine after stripping that one too for the sake of 2-13mm nuts and a ground 13mm 😡😡 waste of nearly 2hrs swapping them but hey what can you do?? Great job tho and maybe advertise 5500 to take 5250 ish give or take (if the fuel light goes off maybe 6500😂😂😂) thanks for your time guys be safe and see you soon👍👋 have a good week too👍

Dee, I love seeing these quick flips, but it really shows how much these insurance companies take the mick out of us. That damage was easily repaired, but because they want to raise someone’s premium and can’t be bothered to do any of the work, they’ve written it off - causing someone a load of hassle, stress and cash down the drain. Thankful for guys like you but there needs to be some kind of review on insurers and how they assess cars! Happened to me this time last year, they sold my c class to Copart and 2 weeks later I checked and it was MOT’d and taxed again 😂 the amount of headache it caused me I wish I knew about your channel then, I could have got you to fix it for me x
Yep. But they also add up all the cost of storage, recoveries all sorts ontop of the cost of the the repairs before writing it off
