Due to COVID-19, British Airways had their A380s parked in long-term storage for about 1.5 years. Now that borders are reopening, British Airways decided to bring the superjumbo back into service. But before they could bring it into regular long-haul service, the pilots needed to re-familiarize themselves with the aircraft. So to do this, British Airways decided to temporarily schedule the A380 on flights to Madrid and Frankfurt. By the time this video is posted, these temporary flights will have already been suspended. Frankfurt is only 360 nautical miles away from London, this makes it one of the shortest A380 flights.
